[Deckard in the hat]

The orders were clear,


We needed to hold this fire base from reaper controlled allies.

They were destroying everything. I was stationed on Palaven when they attacked. Killed everyone in my unit.

I made it out by the grace of god and now they have sent me to a planet called Noveria.

Its a blizzard, I cant see ten feet in front of me and all of the allies of the reapers are here.

The banshee scream pierces my ears as the last of my team mates bleeds out, maybe out of medi gel, I cant say.

All I know is I am the last one left and there is no time for aerial bombardment.

It feels like this is their last wave, I just need to disable one last device.

I tear past a corner as a phantom springs from her hiding spot and tries to slice me with her sword.

I hurdle a control panel and make my way outside in the blizzard to disable the last device.

Just as I finish it something pops up on my omni tool and it forces me to read the message.

It reads:

But yeah it's a bummer when that happens. Worst timing for me was at the end of wave 9 during a plat solo attempt.

My favourite. The game told me I was using a different kit, was so bad I had negative levels, and switched me from queuing Platinum to Bronze. Oh and they didn't even tell me my location or who I was fighting.
