This question was most probably asked countless times, but still. Grabs is my last challenge for the BotB banner (except for the Council Operative banner, but this sort of comes naturally by playing turians, salarians and asari), and I've got a lot to make. Where can I farm grabs most quickly and against whom?

Camp the control room with your Kroguard

Outside lower control room behind barricade (near ammo crate). They cannot spawn behind you and will shuffle in like the good toasters they are. Valkyrie is my go to grab gal. A-Field keeps stuff primed for biotic booming if they are dumb enough to get too close. Plus Tech Armor detonation is good for staggering and the occasional kill.

Ghost solo silver or bronze - back room with the ammo crate. 3 or 4 different spots to grab from.

Honestly, you haven't lived until you've sprinted across the courtyard of Dagger, got hit by Atlas's rocket, cursed the driver's family for ten generations back, got shanked by Phantom and survived only due to a miracle(aka, timely deployed ops pack), staggered by goon into Centurion's stun baton, rage gelled and rage missiled the everlovin' **** out of them all.

 

But when you arrive to the barricade behind which that cowardly Nemesis who's been taking pot shots at you all the while is hiding, pull her over the barricade and splice her skull with your omni-tool and do a little dance on top of her still warm corpse that has your comrades calling Admiral Hackett and you just know there's a straight jacket waiting for you when you get off the shuttle, you can finally say to yourself...

 

It was all worth it.

I say this, but bronze, and bleed out on purpose after Wave 3. Repeat.

 

You basically get three waves of nonstop assault troopers lining up for grabs in the control room, a few measly credits for your efforts (OCD served) and you skip over the waves that mix things in that interfere with your grabs per minute ratio.

 

I think it has taken me less than an hour to do the challenge this way, but I think it was more than half an hour. That's about as accurate as I can be from memory, because the last time I did it was over two years ago.

Bronze/Giant/Geth/Vorcha

 

Geth don't have grenades to bother you while you crouch in the control room. Regen makes you basically invincible.

Once you get the challenge done, do try to integrate grabs in your arsenal, it's a fun weapon to mix into your arsenal IMO. Good hunting!

Here's a quick example I did for you.Gold/Reapers/White.By wave 2 you can get a few more,but just bleed out once the Brutes start attacking.

Krogan Vanguard, Firebase Giant, Geth, Solo Bronze.
Just hide and wait them come. You can get more than 50 grab kills per extraction.
GO SOLO! Otherwise the other players will kill them too quickly. Just make sure your Krogan Vanguard is durable enough.

London is great for grabs. Take geth scanner with you, preset Cerberus et voila!

Down in the courtyard on Dagger with kroguard vs. geth or cerberus.

Firebase White, down through the buildings to the walkways. Hunker down behind the cover facing the ammo box at the end of the walkway. Use a kroguard and pick Reapers (Gold). Wave 1 will be grab after grab of husks, which are always the bottleneck for Reaper mastery.

The couple of times I farmed them, I just used Cerberus White Bronze.

I'm a bit surprised at all the bronze suggestions, it was my understanding that bronze awards less points per grab than silver, or is it a wave comp thing that trumps the extra points?

I used gold as an example because of there being tons of mooks,it's faster iirc.5 or 6 matches wiping at wave 2 gets you the 250 grabs.Doesn't take long at all.

The challenge only counts total grabs, not points.

Seeing as that is my favorite spot I tried it earlier with Reapers on gold as shown in your video. Yep. Easily getting 30 grabs on wave one. Less waiting around than with Geth. Can't use Valkyrie though. AF just causes the husks to stand there and tip over out of reach. Well, you could, but activating AF isn't recommended in this case.
