You want the player to do that or for that to happen? Player I kind of doubt will but I wouldn't be against it as a possible scenario.
Again, we have both scenarios already.
In ME1, Batarians under Balak try to do that to Terra Nova. If you don't do the DLC, they succeed and is referenced in ME2.
In ME2, Shepard does it to the Alpha Relay, destroying it and the entire star system it was in.

"Shepard! These finagling Reapers have us pinned! Take out those monkeyfighting husks so we can move forward! Oh snickers Jenson, watch your backside!"
"Shepard! These bloody Reapers have us pinned!" Take out those blasted husks so we can move forward! Oh damn Jenson, watch your backside"
See how smooth the dialogue is using clean words to express rage?

So none at all, okay why is this thread still going?
What's the point of romance threads?
What's the point of the "Be more like" threads
What's the point of any speculation thread, ever?
Hhck, what's the point of the forums?
Because (supposedly) Bioware encourages feedback?

This is why you're not to be trusted.
For me, it may have been worse since Zaeed is in an Arcade, and children may have been present. After the first encounter, I leave him alone for the most part. No party for him.

Dissing Zaeed is sacrilege.
I also take exception to his choice of words. "Bombs away" connotes hurt, ruination, and destruction.

I don't even recruit him anymore. Someone who would willingly let a building full of people burn to death so he can get revenge is someone I want nothing to do with.
I have been informed that the Rogue would have made a better choice, but ME2 is no longer installed for me.

That doesn't sound smooth, it sounds contrived and forced. And if anyone actually says "watch your backside", they probably have some developmental issues, because no normal person would ever say anything that stilted. "Bloody" and "blasted" are also fairly regional terms. You won't hear many English speakers who aren't from England saying things like that. So unless your hypothetical soldier is a very posh upper-class Englishman, a real combat scenario will have at least 3 or 4 more f***s and sh**s.
Also, "damn", depending on who you ask, can be construed as a swear word, so you're still breaking your own rule.

Nobody older than 5 will say something as profoundly unnatural as "watch your backside".

Bloody is not a clean word in the UK.
And the way I'd write the line would get me banned.

"Watch your six?"
Or just watch your back, be careful, stay sharp, look out, etc.
I am no one's clean language advocate but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist in many serviceable forms for most situations.

You already do. It's called the Arrival DLC. Well, technically you drop an asteroid into a Mass Relay that causes it to go supernova but same result: utter annihilation of a population.
I want to drop it on a planet.

Believe me, I disagree a LOT on these forums.
But there's a difference between disagreement and shouting down/ridiculing someone.
That's a fair point. And I agree that personal censure has no business in this kind of discussion.

I might start counting how many times someone says, "How about this clean/make believe version of swearing," and then mentions actual British profanity in this thread. I think the results could be interesting.

yes, swearing belongs to more mature language, and yes it adds a lot to the personality of the character, renegado or paragon, both can swear in different ways, and yes, bioware is lacking in the mature language department
some swearing expressions could be interesting and fun in a next game

The idiocy of this thread is reaching heights I am more than a little surprised of. Don't like fraking swear words? Don't buy mature titles let your wallet speak volumes. Stop this childish pushing for a unified codex on morality. I don't fraking care if you don't like swear worlds. i don't fraking care if you are offended. The analogy to show the idiocy is thus;
Imagine a Quaker coming on to the forms and complaining about the imaginary violence of the ME universe. Quakers have strict beliefs about violence and the game does not conform to them. But who in their right mind here thinks Bioware should make a violence toggle or remove violence from a mature title? Yet somehow YOUR fraking beliefs are the ones that should be entertained?
Live your life by the moral code you wish to ascribe to and when a product violates said code show some FRAKING moral fortitude and not use said product instead of pushing your moral beliefs on other people.
