Go for it. I thought it was stupid to censor Jack in ME3

Was that actually censorship? I could never tell if it was censoring or if that f-bomb cutaway was just for humorous effect.

People should have choice. Some of us just don't want to hear profanity in games, some do. Choices, people.

If the game is rated M then I see no harm in swearing being included. Like most everything it has its place.

I think it was clearly meant to be part of the joke. Why would they censor Jack using the f-word but not James or Aria ?

Well It could of been a cutaway (in hopes to be humorous) but you could also take it as censorship.

The scene where she is about to cuss Joker out was and it cuts to black was a joke.

Also Sanders states that Jack was trying to watch her language while being a teacher, which makes a certain kind of sense when you think about it. The number of times I heard any of my teachers cuss was pretty low (except when reading certain lines from stories in literature class and/or giving explaining the definition of words like "gay" or "queer" in proper a historical context).

I thought it was meant to be both a joke and Jack's swearing to be so black and evolved that she was using words we'd never even heard before.

It doesn't really need much profanity in it. If it's about the same as the original Trilogy's use of profanity then it'll be all fine. But if it gets to the point where a character or NPC swears like there is no tomorrow, we have a problem.

Wait, what?? Since when are the words gay or queer swearing? What is wrong with you, America?

It's because they are potentially offensive to a select group of people when used in certain contexts. I would say that, at that point, every word in the English language could be considered a swear word. But I digress.

^You read the whole thing? That is some dedication right there.

What can I say, I like to read the views presented by others before I throw my view into the mix.  Plus, there are times people have said things much better than I ever could.   :D

It really doesn't matter what anyone thinks because the odds are swearing will be in the game whether people want it to be or not.

If the game comes out at all, that is.

Uber, it isn't like the whole country is prudish. We've got plenty of people who are cool with explicit content.

Probably - problem is it seem that you have a very vocal minority who seem to never get bored of repeating the same point ad nauseum.

It's not just America.  Even here in London some people can take a perceived slight from words used.

o.o Pretty much but that's why the majority ignores them, and or does other things to said minority.

As history demonstrates repeatedly.

Like BBC using the "so-called Islamic State" supposedly not to give them legitimacy, instead of simply calling them "Daesh",

a name which is accurate and they also apparently hate?...

(I mean, they seem to care about the feelings of insane death cults, so I wouldn't be surprised by anything else)

Zone 2 here as well! :D  However, I work all over the city, including the City, and people can take offence at the strangest things... One person I was working with took offence at the use of the word 'hipster' when describing someone who fit the mould of a hipster!  The world of events has some strange people...

Well yes.  The Beeb has taken to twisting itself in knots to avoid offending people (for the most part)...

This PC mentality of this era is insane.

You don't care about the feelings of terrorists, you shoot them.

Indeed!  A spade is no longer a spade, it is a digging and material moving implement.  But I'll stop there, as the current overly PC nature of the world is one of my pet peeves.
