Any Mass Effect 1 console commands that allow you to change a face, rename a character, or reset talent points?

Is there any way to do this? Just want to change the face, rename the character, and reset my talent points.

Not that I know of.  I can do 2/3 of those in DA:O but Mass Effect is way harder to mod.  Best bet is to start again, or persevere through to ME2 where you will be able to change your face and class.

Sadly, I've never heard of any that would allow you to customise your character. The list of console commands can be found on the wiki. The stats could perhaps be undone and then added individually through the console commands, but that's the best I can think of. I think ME1 Explorer has some sort of save edit feature BUT I don't know whether it even works and I have no idea whether it can be used to adjust an existing character. Never tried it myself. ME1 is probably the most tricky to mod of them all.

I have changed my hair a couple of times with a Hex editor, but it is quite involved.
Spoiler

You could presumably use the same method to make other changes.

I tried to change an entire face with the Hex editor. it was so frustrating that I decided to start a new game again.
@OP: Why don't you start a new game and use Console Commands to arrive fast at the point you are? The Fast Travel trick helps a lot. It makes Mako journeys a lot faster and much more enjoyable.

I wish I played on PC to use all this nonsense.

I wish I played on PC to use all this nonsense.

Imagine spawning Makos all over the place. In the Council Chambers, in your room on the Normandy, ...

I use the teleport command to bypass a bugged ladder in the Leviathan DLC. I have no idea how I'd get around it otherwise since the other workarounds I've found don't work for me. I also once teleported to the Illusive Man in ME2 and... well...

Mueheh. MUEHEHEH. MUEHEHEHEHEHEEE!!!

If you ever change your mind and decide to go PC, I recommend returning to ME just to enjoy this sort of bull. It's a game on its own.

I've only ever teleported when I needed to go back and talk to Sheps mom on the Normandy, but it had been impounded.  Quite handy to teleport over, have the convo, then go back to the Citadel and hand in the quest before all hell broke loose there.   Hearing what you've done I now want to get up to high jinks.

I LOVE that gif.  Tis a glorious glorious thing.

Yeah, but you can still use tweaks to fast travel, skip cutscenes, disable the Mako XP penalty, achieve Level 60 with a few clicks, and so on...

Yes. Use the Fast Game Speed Button, preferably with the game installed on a SSD.

No, and there are no save file editors for ME1 that I'm aware of. I'm in the middle of a playthrough right now and looked into it, as I was trying to recreate my old canon Shepard but used the wrong eye color... there is a way to do it using a hex editor, as mentioned, but IMO not worth the trouble. You will be able to change your appearance once again in DA2.
