In DAI we've seen Hawke and Alistair (if he's not the king) and Morrigan (with her very special little someone) and Leliana and even Cullen...but the Hero of Ferelden is just a letter? The Hero did said something about he or she is on the journey to find a way to cure the "calling"..... but come on,it's been ten more years in the game.
Of course, this discussion is only possible to continue if your Warden is still alive after the final fight in DAO.
Do you think we will ever see the Hero of Ferelden again?

Hmm-maybe that means Morrigan's gift to the Warden in Witch's Hunt wasn't related to curing the Warden's Taint-otherwise why state they were looking for a cure in the letter.

No, I don't. At least not in person. We may get more letters. There are too many variables to have the Warden show up in person.

without him or her being a silent PC, I don't think so. Well if they went the NPC route like they did for Revan and Jedi Exile, it will not do as well with the HoF.

It would be impossible.. Here's why.
Leliana mentions her in DA:I but, what if the HOF was a male like Morrigan's warden? To me that didn't make sense to me because my female warden Camine romances Alistair and Tidus always romances Leliana. I was unhappy about Bio Ware giving Tidus a sex change operation. ![]()
Why couldn't Leliana just say "my warden" like Morrigan? That would cover all bases. After all Leliana can be romanced by a male.

Uh, that might be a bug. She refers to both genders. Unless it's just some specific scene I don't know (and there's a lot I don't know about probably).

Staykat,That very will could be a bug.. I really need to buy a new game since I bought DA:I used from one of my son's friends. As much as I play DA:O a new copy of that game probably wouldn't hurt either.

Yes, eventually. If Bioware figures out how to do it right. I'm betting it would involve a character generator in the Dragon Age Keep (or something similar), some really clever writing and huge voice acting budget.
So most likely No.

Nope, too many variables as someone already said, and the **** storm that voicing the warden would create in the community....oh god can you imagine? Whichever actor you chose to people would be sore about it.

It sounds like you didn't import your world state properly...If you start the DAI new game by the default world state, the Warden is a female,yes...I started DAI with my personal world state, and everything everybody said about the Warden in the game is 100% correct....anyway, I do think the only reason that can hold us from seeing the Warden again is that in DAO the Warden is "mute"! Unlike Hawke only has one male voice actor and one female voice actor, the Warden has many voice actors, but all the conversations are "mute". This would makes it even harder to talk to the Warden in person.

JJ,I have DA:I on PS3 and Xbox 360..Is there a world I can import? My son and grandson plays on gaming computers and they don't know. I think "Trespasser" is PS4 and Xbox 1 only since I couldn't find it for Xbox 360 or PS3..
Any help is appreciated.

It's been years between Dragon Age and Witch Hunt. I assumed that it was Morrigan's gift that set the Warden on the trail they are following in Inquisition.

But Morrigan didn't say sh*t about her gift inspired the Warden on his/her journey...but then again, she also didn't say anything about her s**(spoiler) is actually the Warden(or Alistair)'s s**(spoiler)......

Yes, if enough people demand it and the right people work for BioWare (non-lazy people).
As for the cure quest, it hasn't been 10 years. Witch Hunt ended in 33 Dragon, I believe. Even after that the Hero did not leave immediately. The Hero probably researched Morrigan's book for some time before finally departing. And I think DA2 ended in 40, which is when Cassandra was sent to look for the Champion and Leliana sent to find the Hero. So figure anywhere between 35 and 40 Dragon. Then Trespasser ends in 44. According to the Leliana romance epilogue, the Hero has returned from the cure quest.
So it's safe to say that the Hero is back soon after the end of Trespasser.
Bringing the Hero back is a simple matter of letting the players have the model files of the Hero, Champion, and Inquisitor all available for edit in the game's main menu. These files can then be saved for a future game, then imported once the game is released. Many other things can also be set in this customizer. Then get all the voice actors to voice the various lines.
It's not that hard, really.

Bioware should stop to push those kind of contrived nonsense to pamper Gaider personal Mary sue,
My warden never needed to find a cure in the first place and absolutely never cared to follow the informations of someone of whom he strongly despise such as Morrigan,he would have go to Avernus and remained locked into that tower rather than go into the Far-West to lose 10 years of his life.

All I want is to see the Warden once more, that's all......it's not BioWare's fault, they've done more than enough. It might sounds like a complete fantasy, but I would love to see a "Dragon Age:Origins 2" or something like that in the future, which is all about the Warden...but anyway,I love the fact that BioWare is taking their time, because the last thing I want is a self destruct team like Resident Evil's current team,I don't want fast food on this.

If they're just pumping something out, no matter how good it looks and how great the technology if it doesnt have a good story and connect with its audience then its a fail...
DAO had some vision beyond the details of gameplay. Lets see if Bioware can do it again. Let them take the time to do it right.

The writers are between a rock and a hard place.
On one hand, they clearly don't want to bring back this character, but on the other, they have to invent increasingly convoluted excuses to keep the surviving HoFs offscreen.
For the time being it's not a problem: the next game will focus on Tevinter, so until southern Thedas and/or the Grey Wardens internecine conflict comes back at the forefront of the tale, the HoF has no reasons to get personally involved, which, hopefully will give the writers enough time to figure how to definitely kill all the surviving HoFs.

As much as I would love to have my Warden show up again in person (preferably in DA4, where he'd be kicking ass and taking names in Tevinter), I have to agree with this. Even definitively killing off a surviving HoF, onscreen or off, would probably cause a giant sh*tstorm.
