Really? The Warden a Mary Sue? Have you not met the Inquistor? The Inquistor is like the ulimate Mary Sue of all times...
Bioware enjoys making Mary Sues all around I think.
On topic, I hope not.

Yeah but that was Alistair. And Antiva doesn't even really have royalty of their own. They are basically run by the various mobs. Tevinter considered King Maric very important, if I recall correctly.
If the Hero returns for a Leliana romance, it would only be after the cure is found to be true or false. Which means this should logically apply to all Heroes regardless. So the cure quest is over and the Hero will be returning by the next game. Just in time for the next game actually.
Oh pleazz let this happen. I know many killed their HoF but a lot of us didn't!. I need to see my HoF again, theirs is such an important character in DA they need to come back; especially in the Warden Civil War. And finding(or not) the cure for the Calling how could the HoF not be important and come back.

Which has become a problem: because now a sizable chunk of Bioware's audience is here because they expect 60+ hours long triumphant power fantasies and get very cranky when the writers try to deliver something more interesting than this formula.

That wouldn't be a problem so much as a demographic that doesn't include you, but I find that annoying as well.
Answering OP, No.
(I don't think it would be feasible to see HoF again and I don't want to see my beloved HoF's again unless it is *them* not just some randomized stand in).

Mhm, all survivng HoFs just being assumed to have gone hunting for a cure with a good fifteen years left before the Calling could become a problem for them personally doesn't bode well for Bioware respecting our own takes on our Wardens in the future. I'm currently working on an Ultimate Sacrifice playthrough that I intend to make my canon just to be on the safe side.
Better to see my character at the bottom of the ocean than in the hands of a pirate, ahem, Bioware writer.
It makes some sense with Hawke because s/he is a pretty binary character. The Warden isn't.
