Weird explosion sounds during the game...

Hey guys,

sorry to bother you but I am experiencing some weird stuff lately in DA:O.

I'm in the game right after the Landthing and just recruited Loghain in the game. I played DA:O a while back and I was back then having the same following sound problem:

At some point at the game (after exploring the werewolf cave), there is this sound in the game where the werewolfs are somewhat hammering at a door in their cave. This explosion sound is being played during the game which is super annoying after a while. I hope you know, which sound I mean. A few years back, I was playing DA:O on Windows 7 on a PC. I had this sound problem and it didn't go away for the rest of the game. Right now, I play DA:O on a Macbook Pro (2012) with Parallels on Windows 8. Same sound problem, so I don't think it is a hardware setup problem. When I turn off the sound effects alltogether, the weird sounds stop - but all the other game sounds, too.

Has anyone an idea how to fix this problem? Latest patch I installed was, I think, 1.4.

I think it is a warriors threat or one of his abilities. Taunt? It is annoying..

Neither my PS3 or XBOX 360 DA:O games has that issue but, Loghain's dead after the landsmeet and I never use taunt since IMHO it a worthless skill that does nothing to improve fighting skills.

If you using taunt then the werewolves are trying to get out to fight you since you are egging them on..
