The DLC is really expensive and I need to know how long it is?

I hope more than 20 hours because sell us the ending of the game is a blatant theft, but is EA so we can't expect more.

The DLC is worth it?

I know a bit his content but it seems like the DLC only takes 5-6 hours.

First 100h game is not automatically better than 20h game most times opposite. DA:I great example it's mostly boring fillers, Tresspasser don't have this problem it focus on companions an story. Yes it's about 6-7 h maybe longer/shorter depending on person. If you like DA:I story it's worth it and you must buy it it continues story of Inquisition and it's like ending epilogue, and Cass voice actor doing great/fun job reading Varric book than credits roll.

Took me 7-8 hours playing on Nightmare. But it's mostly story-driven, there's not a lot of filler in there. It also changes the base game in a couple of ways (new ability upgrades, trials, new loot). I bought it for $15 and thought it was worth it.

It's about 7 hours, and was definitely worth the money for me.

Also, epilogue != ending.

Really less than 8 hours?

The DLC Heart of Stone from the Witcher 3 cost 7 dollars and it is 20 hours long!!

What a disappointment, but I don't want the game uncompleted.

If you really explore and exhaust all options, Trespasser can take 10 hours. Rush through it and it could take five hours, but why would you want to do that? See it all, enjoy the game. The DLC is worth the price.

Less than 10 hours, definitely. Most say it's really worth it though. I personally like the Descent better, even though everyone seemed to dislike it :P. So it's all about what you like best.

I'm unsure if it's too short for being roughly 7 hours, or too long for being such a terrible DLC.

It's worth maybe $4 for the extra skills. But that's it. Oh, and it also causes your characters and some enemies to stand still during combat.

All in all, the new skills aren't worth it. Avoid the DLC if you can. Watch it on YouTube and headcanon your character through it.

20? I read that it was somewhere around the 10 hour mark.

I play pretty slowly and take my time. On Nightmare with trials it took me 13 hours to complete and I didn't do everything. The DLC is story driven and focused, like a main mission in the main game, and it is exceptional. The pacing, the cinematic design, the music, the atmosphere, the drama, it is the epilogue DAI deserves. Well worth the $15-20 IMO.

As for the goodies, I don't personally use sigils, but I really enjoyed the trials that scale enemies to your level and give them extra abilities. I wanted the main game to be more challenging, and I got my wish. The extra ability upgrades were also a nice touch.

I think you are the only person I've seen post who doesn't like Trespasser... I'm curious what you didn't like about it? Did you like the other DLC?

From what I've gathered, its 5-15 hours like the other DLCs, and depending on what you consider 'content', and not counting multiple playthroughs of course.

5 for rushing, 10 for normal, 15 for completionist (including such things as reading codex).

This doesn't count the Trials system and its achievements.

I loved Jaws of Hakkon, and I thought Descent was okay.

I'm putting a thread together about Trespasser. I'll let you know. Short version is, forced storyline, lack of choice, too many gags, story contradictions, and almost all characters were turned into complete idiots.

Then again, Witcher's a piece of junk... I doubt they can charge more.

Worth it since it ends the game and may set up the next one.

I played it a bit after the fact, and honestly I was pretty underwhelmed. Apart from the very unsatisfying ending (never a fan of villain wins, games), I ultimately felt like there was too much of a disconnect between the player and gamer for the story (i.e., we know the real plot, Solas, and the Qunari are a side-plot).

I really like Trespasser, but I think BW stole some of their own thunder by revealing Solas' identity to the player before the PC et al found out. I much prefer such reveals be simultaneous (like the player and Warden both learning about the US from Riordan). Replaying a game with such knowledge is bad enough....no need to force it on new content too.

Me, too.

Descent felt more like an exploration DLC, full of mysteries to uncover, just as an RPG should.

Trespasser lost a bit of its magic to me because we knew Solas was Fen'Harel in advance.

This is a curious misstep, since up until that point, the game was fairly good about not giving us information beyond the knowledge of our PC. Origins made this mistake a bit too often, like the scene with Loghain and Teagan, Zevran being hired by Howe and Loghain, etc..
