Don't like making two topics right in a row in the same section....

But i turned on the game tonight to go down into the Coracavus holding cells to search for the spirit rune and noticed that my team was now glowing purple. My team when this happened was myself, Cassandra, Cole and Vivienne. I originally thought that it was Vivienne causing it because she's equipped with a Spirit rune. But i  replaced Vivienne and Cole with Dorian and Sera and while they weren't glowing purple, Cassandra and i still were. Is this related to having a certain ability activated or anything?

Could be an ability, or maybe caused by equipment? Do you see any icons indicating status effects?

I'm not sure, but it might be the new upgrade for Toxic Cloud, which grants Evasive stacks. It might have stuck around on you and Cass even after switching parties. Does Cole have Toxic Cloud?

Edit: It's "Elusive" stacks, I stand corrected.

Actually, yes. Cole does have Toxic Cloud. Though Vivienne seems to have it still long after Cole being around. Cassandra and i have cleared up.

The Evasion effect created by Toxic Cloud lasts until you get hit.

We're talking about doing a mission, going back to Skyhold and then going back out type of lasting.

It lasts until you're hit. That includes return trips to Skyhold.

What thats1evildude said.

Also, everyone who stands in an upgraded Toxic Cloud gets Elusive (not Evasive) stacks. They will last until they get hit so many times that their stacks are used up.

I personally love it. :D So pretty.

Yep, that's how Elusive stacks work. If you don't want them during a particular cutscene, switch to the other Toxic Cloud upgrade so they don't get reapplied, then hug 3 enemies to remove all the stacks.

Of course, they're much easier to manage (and more tactically useful) when playing without AI. And in that situation, their current behavior is convenient. When I'm doing dumb stuff, like soloing level 20 areas at level 9, I don't have to reapply them every time I switch maps.
