Hello Bioware and Bioware Community,
This to me is a major issue. I have purchased the Mass Effect games on both consoles and for the PC on Origin and on Steam (Yes two computer copies for both with the exception of ME3 obviously). My issue is that the DLC is still literally 7 times the cost of the games on sale and still in the area of 3 1/2 times the cost of the trilogy at normal price. I paid full price when they were new which is what most people do however, we are use to a company having some decency when their software ages. The games are not getting any better do to EA/Bioware (Bioware was so shamelessly lazy that it could not integrate the damn controller support even though it left the files from the Xbox port in the game).
Yet EA whines and bitches about piracy causing it issues. This is why!
Mass Effect 1 - 2007.
Mass Effect 2 - 2010.
Mass Effect 3 - 2012.
DLC Cost
Mass Effect 2 - $45.00 USD 1/4/16
Mass Effect 3 - $60.00 USD 1/4/16
Total $105.00 USD 1/4/16
Now with what I have paid buying this again would put me somewhere over half a grand...... That's insane.
It's far easier to pirate the hell out of all of this and be done with your company and that's why it is so common. EA/Bioware is full of lip service and there is literally nothing to show for it. Which is why piracy of your games will only become more and more prevalent. What reason is there to support a company that half asses games and then wants your first born as payment.
Now if this was all cosmetic DLC I would not even care about the price. We do have DLC that instead makes major changes or additions to the story arch, such as the Shadow Brokers Lair or Leviathan. The fact that the DLC is basically holding huge portions of the game hostage is absolutely ridiculous. I made a post over at the EA section but as usual EA is the laziest and the worst company to deal with. So I got no response. I expect that Bioware look into correcting this and also getting rid of the stupid Bioware points which is literally the most ignoramus idea of currency I have ever seen.
