Okay, I have another one.

  • Female main characters having more female partners than male partners because straight male FPS players can't stand watching their main female character receiving the attention of another man in the game.
like really...

Wake up from the dream you're locked into.

Mass Effect 2 character creation pet peeve: when importing a Shepard, you can either pick the old face, choose a default or make a new one from scratch with the default as a base. No in-betweens. Also skin textures, eye shapes and hairstyles available only for the default faces - not cool (I play on PC, but no matter how many times I try, I just can't get a hang on ME3 explorer).

This is how I roll : Make an ME3 character, and use code slider converter and make ME1 character from it. In ME2, you can reuse the same ME3 code.

There's a lot of texture you can reuse for textmod. My favourite is James' and Kaidan's texture.

Let's keep it light and breezy lol.
It doesn't matter what the name is, or what's its origin... it matters that some people keep spelling it "Kaiden"... It's a simple task of LOOKING and COPYING. People failing that are just ridiculous.

He doesn't deserve our respect. Irrelevant by the time we get to Virmire anyway. We spell his name as DEAD after that.

But I thought somewhere similar to that with Ashley. Considering her nick is Ash, like literally.

And my prophecy (a couple of posts ago wink wink) is fulfilled muhahahhahaha  Or prediction... however you want to spell THAT! ;)

PS: It's not about your feelings on the matter, you brilliant mind you, it's about people who aren't intelligent enough to mentally copy-paste a word lol. It's like watching a first grader learning to write... "Say FORK, Susan... FORK! ~ F*CK? ~ No! Not F*CK, Susan... FORK!!!!"

You are far too emotionally invested in the letter A. Or was it E? Who can tell anymore.

I don't like the upgrade system on ME2 & 3 for the Normandy, weapons, and tech. The technology looks primitive, it seems like BioWare half-assed on that, wires all over inside the Normandy, elevators instead of the teleporters, no state of the art cutting edge technology, and glass on ships instead of using force fields like in Star Trek. Also the side/combat missions are pretty much boring they show no realistic elements of combat missions like using real life tactics of guerilla warfare, advanced enemy AI, no connection to the main story like Witcher 3, and no military style how to execute missions such as stealth, setting up ambushes, etc. I think that if they're going to do TPS they should introduce tactical shooter elements to have players use their heads, instead of just going guns blazing all the time and to make it fun and challenging.

High heels

Catsuits

Long un-gathered hair

Boob "armor"

Planet scanning

Door hacking

Mini-games in general

Terrible inventory management

Inability to customize squad armor or even force them to wear actual airtight helmets during ME2 and ME3; the microtransactional incentives supposedly meant to address this are insufficient on all counts

Weight system/class weapons

Kids

Duck-lips

Pig-noses

Cerberus

Batarians

Vorcha

"Underworld tough-talk" scenery-chewing that seems palatable only for writers and listeners who know nothing of it

Breather masks need to go altogether, they're useless in corrosive environments and environments with skin permeable toxins.

That's one of those things that honestly would never occur to me until someone mentions it on BSN, but now I think about it it's really stupid.  I was just on a fog filled planet with Miranda, Shep had a full Cerberus helmet on but she had this little plastic thingy.   First time I played, never noticed, now, 'oh those guys are totally right, that's just inadequate'.

Less appeal to memes and what's "cool" on the internet, more focus on the actual game's story components.

I mean, I love ME, but this is still a series that "couldn't afford" the resources to make Jack a playable character in ME3, or to even render Tali's face for a big reveal (a three game character with a strong fanbase)...

... but they did manage to find the resources to render and voice act a Jessica Chobot character.

Bioware likes to shove cameras right up in characters faces to count their nose hairs. I have a very large monitor. This is... unsettling.

Meh, yeh, they did.  They had me tip toeing around wondering if I was gonna hear another bad joke from someone else about his calibrations or the story was actually gonna go somewhere.

Human male & female body types being excessively gendered in a way that did only "favors" for the males. The women are often depicted as far too skinny outside of their armor while the males could sometimes be way too huge both in casual wear and armor. ME3 strangely was the standout culprit despite its story and characters' concerns being the least sexist of the series.

Animations across genders: I don't mind MShep and FShep both using masculine animations. But I am bothered by the dev teams' laziness against QA'ing for movements that need to look plausible on both a tall long-limbed person as well as a compact shorter person...instead of just being clearly tacked-on for the latter without consideration.

Elbows: Human characters in casual wear with short sleeves (or topless) always gave me the impression of starved birds when they crossed their exposed arms.

Hands: Sooty and gnarled during close-ups when not hidden by gloves. Also disproportionately small even with gloves.
