You're my hero. I need to try harder. It's true sometimes the characters' reactions can be really interesting. I kind of revel in seeing how much of good people the companions are when faced with a real bastard. I think the protagonist's poor behaviour then kind of highlights it, heh.
Oh! It's nice the interaction changes based on approval. I knew it has some sort of influence, but I didn't know how much. I need to experiment.
The Solas gif.Part of me thinks, "Poor sod." But then part of me also remembers the end of the game and Trespasser.
I still don't know if they could actually force Cullen to do that. But I assumed that was partly what the rush and scandal was about.
And, I know.![]()
This thread officially turned into Cullen fangirling thread. I'm okay with this.
Try being an evil bastard every now and then. It's refreshing!
But seriously, I'm a nice person in real life, but I have to admit being able to destroy everything and everyone feels good every now and then. I guess that's just my inner sadist talking. And I'm kinda curious about all the content they managed to stuff in the game, so it's worth it to me just for the extra scenes etc. Plus, my "evil ***hole" protagonist usually looks nothing like my canon protag, so it's easy to distance myself from their actions. They're basically doing the evil stuff themselves. They alive, damnit!
Solas deserves no sympathy. At all.
Interesting topic. Would Cullen agree to get married to some noblewoman he doesn't like, if it would benefit the Inquisition? He doesn't strike me as the person who would agree to do things against his will, but on the other hand, he might think it necessary to place the needs of the Inquisition above his own. Or he'd just say "No. That's ridiculous." and that's that.
Also, I like how this topic is now basically about cookies and Cullen.
Sorry, not sorry. We're still technically on topic.
