Sorry not trying say all women are this. Just going for the average dumb American consumer that just happens to be female. Not everyone is the same but I think it'd be fair to say that more people prefer certain things.

If Mass Effect really wanted to cater to their female players a bit more, here are some of the things they could work on;

 

a ) add even ONE male pole dancer 

b ) stop designing the alien female character models as an afterthought

c ) if they're going to have blatant female butt shots, boob shots, etc., it should be romance content. (I want to look at that stuff about as much as a straight guy would like to stare at Jacob's knob)

 

Notice I say 'cater to', not 'draw in'. There are plenty of female Mass Effect fans, I don't know how you came to the conclusion that the Mass Effect fandom is 'overwhelmingly male'. I play ME3 MP as a vorcha, and I don't use a headset. How would you have any idea what what gender I am?

Garrus is my favourite romance ever, closely followed by Iron Bull.  But with Bull it isn't about his body, it's his attitude to the Inquisitor that's full of love and respect.  Being there for her/him when needed cause being a hero is stressful, and Garrus is the same.  But the reason he's my favourite is that he and femShep are colleagues who respect each other first.  Then friends.  Then finally, a long while later, they fall for each other and it's not about sex or lust so much as a true connection.

 

Now for me that's golden, I love it.  If you want something a little steamier then you've got that with Kaidan, damn there's some chemistry there, but with Garrus you get the whole thing.  He's kinda perfect.  Though I wonder what the kissing would be like.  I'm thinking....pointy?

Why do they need to be rich? Regardless, that is not a bad idea. It would not effect me -- as I only stare at the beautiful alien girls -- but still that is not a bad idea. Mass Effect should appeal to more girls. I do not agree with the rich part, but it should appeal to girls, too.
