But...but why do it?   Oh dear, this is starting to turn into a old classic novel.  The wounded, brooding hero who just can't open his heart to his mob killing gal as they romped through the arenas slicing bad guys open.   Did she care?  Did she want his hot bod?  Or maybe just his friendship?  We'll never know.

 

Seriously it's like Jane Austen all over again.

Neither of those would do it for me personally. Maybe they can improve their advertising? The reason why I only got into Mass Effect a few months ago is because I thought it was a pure shooter with a set protagonist that was basically James Bond in space - killing all the bad guys and banging hot chicks.

You read a different Jane Austen than poor me. The only real advertisement for Darcy I remember is 20 000 Pounds.

Its easier to check on twitter using #SWTOR #swtorfamily. If you look through the timeline, there's a lot of female gamers playing females in the game.

Soloing multiplayer maps sounds boring. But I know what you mean. Some people are no fun to play with. Anonymity can be a curse.

Well, I just want to shoot stuff. If I wanted to talk to people, I'd go out or something. Or come here. In my experience, playing with other people is mostly a pain.

That's an interesting point, actually. I've only had roleplaying experience from servers of fantasy RPGs, like Neverwinter Nights, myself. Unfortunately, I tend to get impatient when we're just talking and not doing anything, though. As for ME multiplayer, maybe a roleplaying group could be set up? ME3 has a multiplayer forum after all. Maybe it's better to plan these things ahead of time than hope that they work out at random. I suppose different people expect different experiences from their multiplayer, which is pretty much what you pointed out earlier.
