I normally go to the Mages for help with the Breach but I decided to go with the Templars this time because I wanted to see how things are different.  My conversations with Solas and Blackwall after Champions of the Just were much more foreshadowy than any conversation I've had with any companions after In Hushed Whispers.

You can get Solas to talk about being careful because Allies betraying you is much worse than facing known enemies.  And then Blackwall can talk to you about trust and how it can be risky trusting people.

Pot/Kettle stuff here... I wanted to smack both of them!  lol

Yeah, there's a loooooot of this in the game. Particularly where Solas and Blackwall are concerned.

Actually, there's one early conversation with Solas that I think gets overlooked: when he's explaining about spirits of Wisdom and how they only become Pride demons because people expect them to be that way. Makes me wonder if the Inquisitor's vow to save or stop Solas in Trespasser means it's possible to "change" him from Pride to Wisdom...

Hadn't thought of that one but you're right, there is a lot of foreshadowing.  These just caught me off-guard because I don't remember there being anything comparable after In Hushed Whispers so these two conversations really surprised me.

Too much foreshadowing for me. I knew Solas was Fen'Harel as soon as I saw the Haven mural. Though things said and done before that indicated he was an ancient elf, so that helped me draw the conclusion. He learned things from dreaming in the Fade? Yeah right. Oh, and dreamwalking? That thing only the ancient mages could do? All right. Oh, and you want to find the ancient artifact that caused the breach? How do you know it's an ancient artifact? And really, an apostate shows up at just the right time who just happens to know how a new-to-us type of magic works and saves my life? Yeah. Okay.

Sera about Solas: his head's crammed up a thousand years ago.

You're just too smart for us all, man.

Thanks. I also accurately predicted the plot to tear down the Veil and that Corypheus was just a pawn months before Inquisition came out. :D
