Not looking for tech support, I just wanted to post the info.

I have pretty long loads when transitioning to 'new' areas.  Meaning, if I bounce around Hinterlands, pretty fast.  If I go from Skyhold to Storm Peaks, 50 seconds.

When I switch to 'windowed fullscreen' from 'fullscreen' the load times go to 20 seconds, from 50.  This impacts performance as it disables my 2nd vid card I believe.  There is a definite, heavy performance hit.

The game runs fantastic in SLI, and uses as much GPU capacity of both cards as any game I have run in SLI, but the load times are a beast, especially being on all SSD's with 450 to 500 read/writes.

2x GTX 970's in SLI

i7 5820K

16 GB Ram

2x SSD's

Win 8.1

The game must just struggle with loading to 2 cards Vram.

Inquisition's load times are terrible at the best of times. I imagine SLI must exacerbate the problem to some degree. Not much you can do about it, Bioware aren't patching the game any further from what we know. Just be glad they eventually got SLI working at all; it was busted at launch and for a few patches after.

Don't think this game is designed for two cards. Before I bought my new video card I had two ATIs in crossfire and I had to turn one of them off because I had a lot more crashes compared to playing a single card.

This game is taking advantage of SLI more than, or equal to, the best SLI games I have played, and I've played a ton of AAA games.  Great in-game performance.  Poor region load performance.
