Greetings all!
I've posted in the Answer HQ and gotten nothing, so I'm turning here in desperation. I have a rift not appearing in the Hinterlands. It's one of the "Threshold Rifts" -- the one north of the Upper Lake Camp and directly north of Fort Connor. I've zoned in and out of the Hinterlands over 20x just to check on the rift spawning. I've restarted the game 8 or 9 times. I even uninstalled it and reinstalled it. All with ZERO luck. Does anyone have any workable suggestions I might try to get this darn thing to appear, please? I'm about as desperate as one can get over something like a video game, lol.

Are you describing the rift in Witchwood? (You can see the name of the area you are in on the map screen.) I ask this because the Lake Luthias camp isn't really nearby there. Are you sure you're looking in the right place for the rift?

 

Also, usually the best thing to do with such bugs if a reload isn't helping is to go back to an earlier save before you entered the area. But... as it's the Hinterlands I realize that is not ideal since that is pretty well the start of the game.

If that isn't an option and, it won't show after repairing the game, skip it and move on. ou don't have to close every rift to finish the game, jsut ignore that one if it won't pop for you.

Yah, it's the Witchwood rift. What a pain the buttocks. LOL I know I don't have to close every rift, but the compulsive in me screams to find a way to make it spawn and close the darn thing! LOL I'm actually on the edge of starting a whole new game with a whole new toon just to do that very thing. Sigh.
