I suppose you have to have looted 800+ items to get an increased % chance for weapons to drop on nightmare - is this correct? Can someone explain how this works and HOW you see how many items you've looted?

just see snakebite's answer. Truth is even if I do tell people about the loot score, I don't believe that it even makes a difference (maybe it exists, but it's completely broken).

Well thanks to Snakebite I now know that this game doesn't differentiate between players that just started and players that have been around since the beginning when it comes to loot...thanks Bioware!

My alt just got a Hakkon's Mercy from a dragon on Nightmare.  I had only played on that account for about an hour, and it was only the second dragon we killed.  I'm not sure if the required loot score is false, or if the loot table was altered in some way when Luke enabled duplicate Hakkon's Mercies, or both.  Or neither?

Yep. But, there was also a pretty wide spread assumption that you were unable to get them until you had a certain amount of items looted. Obviously, that's not the case. Unless the Mercy is the exception due to Luke making it possible to get two.

Hey, I'm not happy about it either!  All I can think of now is how many new players with virtually zero hours that I carried to multiple drops from that godforsaken dragon during those long months searching for the Valor.  I died a little inside last night. 

 

Also, edited my first post to have video evidence.  It's also worth noting, I was AFK for half of that game, so I did even more nothing than my level 11 Archer with an Inquisition Bow would have anyway, and I still got that drop.
