Does Bioware still put up limited time special chests every few weekends? Dragon/dragon's call chests, crafting material chests, class chests, etc? Just started playing again after a long hiatus (stopped playing one or two weeks after NM/Heartbreaker first released). 

 

Separate question, is perilous+ dragon drops the only way to get dragon weapons still? Still need the dagger and staff. Main reason I stopped as the RNG was just pissing me off..... seriously, someone else got a dragon staff every second match I played and I didn't see one in over 300 perilous dragon runs. Same for the dagger but someone else only got one every seven or eight dragon runs. 

 

I'm really hoping the RNG doesn't drive me away again.......

You can get Hakkons from chests, but RNG is RNG

 

and no more special chests, dev support has ended

You can get the dragon weapons from chests too.  My collection of dragon weapons was rounded out due to getting drops from the store chests.

 

I've actually gotten multiple dragon weapons from chests.  It seems that the odds of getting dragon weapons from chests is better than trying to get them from Perilous dragons.
