You're right, she should walk like this.
Will this music play in the background?
Someone on the forum recently said they're mocapping the walk this time? It looks just normal.
They are. Here's the tweet and a couple pictures.

SAY WHAT?

Actually I thought you'd be more like this

I would prefer separate realistic (mo-cap) female and male animations for both in-game and cutscene animations, but understand that may be more expensive than Bioware is able to shell out. In that case, they should make neutral animations that are used for both sexes. Then we wouldn't have the situation where the female Inquisitor buttwaggles her way to a cutscene and then stomps around in said cutscene like a chimpanzee with a poopy diaper. Get rid of the bowlegged, stooped male animations and the unrealistic spinebending female animations altogether.
I found the DA2 "sexy run" to be totally immersion breaking and jarring. Have a look at it on Male Hawke.
Some people may like the sexy run (on either Hawke), but it's not for me.
Given a choice, I much prefer Female Hawke using the Male Hawke animation, which is relatively neutral:
It's not perfect, but it could be an acceptable compromise.

Irrelevant! i'm a predator either way

Ken Thain @KenThainGetting our motions on at TheCaptureLab in Vancouver. A very cool scene for the next #MassEffect.
It looks like to me that that could maybe be the protagonist being hanged upside down by an enemy or something.
For the love of god !!please bioware fix the female movement for the main character this time, you make such good games and now also have perfected open world in inquisition, everything is so good now, the story, graphics, gameplay why would you possibly hold your games back,i know it must be expensive and time consuming but this is not fair that female character does not get her own movement.I hope this time you will fix this because i hate to see my character walking, sitting like a man because she does not need to be manly to be badass!
lolwat
sorry cant take this guy seriously
*Obligatory "femshep sits like a man" pic*
Other than for comic relief, it's best not to repeat stuff like this, Bioware.
Lmao
At least she's covering her bits.
Or I hope that's what she's... doing with her hands there. Judging by her face, I have my doubts.
This so much, plus I fully endorse femshep manspreading because she's a BOSS!!Eh.. after DA2 and DAI with female animations.. no thanks. I'm more than fine having same animations as male protagonist.

Lmao dialogue option should have been like "You want some of this?"
Actually the dialogue between Jim & Nadia in American Pie comes to mind
".........looks like you could use an extra hand"

What I ask myself is...why make (and let use on the ship) this kind of dress, if the devs know that the animation were so gorilla like?
Not that I find very sensitive even for a male sit like that. Is quite rude sit like that even for a dude.

Hey! sometimes you need to air the situation. Don't judge!

Well the dress came with Kasumi's loyalty quest so I think it makes sense there, but there was no need to make it one of the casual wear options later on. Though I guess it's up to player- to choose that dress despite the awkward animations or chose something else. I know my Shepards didn't go around wearing dress at least.

Yes, that what have me perplexed...in the Kasumi mission have sense (Shepard never sit, and never have scenes where the bad animation make her ridicolous, but not really on the ship. Making it an option after the mission with those animation, is a really bad joke. And one of the signs, in my opinion, that the female protagonist was always a second thought.

To be honest I'd be more annoyed if they didn't offer the dress as a casual option after the mission. Sure, it looks weird while on-duty and femshep's manspreading doesn't help either, but the dress itself looks great and a lot of people like to use it in the romance scenes.
I guess BW could have gone with a unisex formal outfit (female tuxedo?) like Hawke in Mark of the Assassin, but I personally find that outfit horrendous on femhawke.

Selectable Animation Presets in Character Creation like Saints Row 2 is what we need.
