Edit: if you go back into the weapon selection screen after this, it will re-equip the weight of the mods

 

2nd Edit: Also note if there is a mid game host migration the weight from the mods will be re-applied

Or if someone joins the lobby.. If you're relying on getting the weight glitch, its wise to wait til the lobby is full to activate it.

I never bother to rely on the weight glitch because it's too easy to break.  On most of the kits I play it really doesn't matter anyway, Cabal being the only exception really.

Think there might be a list in the library. If not, you can easily try with whatever weapon you are thinking of using to see if it applies

Anyways, the Kroguard is one of the best kits in the game, no other kit can rival his survivability (the Juggernaut being the only other candidate)

The down side is of course his slow movment speed and he's kind of clunky, if you struggle with sync kill units on the higher difficulties the Kroguards best friend is the Geth scanner.

Personally I prefer the Batarian Brawler Vanguard, he can't take as much damage as the Kroguard but he's a lot faster and have a lot more mobility combined with a better heavy melee and spare ammo.

I'll have you know that pretty much all of my asari(save for justicar... she always was the odd one) like their shotties. The adept, vanguard and huntress are ready for one mean cat fight when there's Claymore on the line. Three babes and only so much of the High Lord to go around... there were casualties even.

 

Among the onlookers suffering heart attack from too much sexyiness, but still!

 

Valkyrie is a simple gal, but try to take her Raider away and she'll annihilate you.

My Justicar loves the Disciple. It only accepts Warp4 ammo, though.

I have this kit but the last times I used it seemed that blade armor wasn't working. I activate it and nothing happens.

You'll see blades appearing on several parts of the armor, like chest and shoulder pads. And the power's quickslot icon should be highlighted reddish.

Lag makes it glitch out sometimes, like with tech armor and annihilation field, sometimes you can't see the blades, keep toggling it off and back on til you see the blades is my advice.

So I unlocked the Krogan Battle master and took it on a Silver Solo match. No equipment aside from gear.

That kit is so freaking ridiculous. I went against geth and not even the primes were match to me. On Targets objective I focused on them while bombers and pyros tried to take me down, unsuccessfully.

I got 10 waves survived medal and I guess this kit is Gold viable as my main sources of damage are charge and melee.

It was a lot of fun playing as this class, even more as the vorcha sentinel. I still need to try it off host though.

I did 175k points. That seemed quite a nice amount of points for a Silver but I'm no expert. I guess high scores are expected on solos as you get all the enemies for yourself

Krolord is very offhost friendly and the best way to play him effectively is charge and melee. Jamokes tend to slap on a gun as if it'll out-damage a Krogan Ho-Smack.

Its harder to notice than Tech Armor, but you should be able to see blades come out/go into his shoulders when you turn it on/off

I was able to notice the blade armor now.

I guess my brawler was wrongly specced, with lash, but it sucked bad compared to the kroguard.

I intend to promote vanguards and respec both of them once I get Lone Wolf banner.

 

Speaking of which, I ventured into Gold solo wihtout equip (it was just a test, I didn't have time to finish 11 waves) and well, Gold solo is quite hard.

I simply can't stand devices for solo. I know I can kite the enemies (I was on Giant) but still, it's quite tough to play solo Gold having a bad manifest (only Commons and Uncommons maxed). I'm using the Reegar, but that takes me to 141% of cd, and those fractions of seconds I lose on my BC can be the difference between life and death. I also only have 3 cobras, 2 survivals and 4 medi gels, so I have limited resources.

 

But I still believe it's doable, just need patience and lots of medi gels, as I'll have to repeat the process multiple time.
