Hi Folks

 

I have the game on Origin (GotY) and was hoping to get a copy of the official guide but there are very few copies for sale and all at inflated prices - like £70+.

 

I am wondering does anyone know will there be a reprinting of the guide?

And also will there be a GotY edition of the official guide?

While I can't answer for certain, I rather doubt that there will be a reprinting or a new version just for the GotY edition.

 

That said, if you are referring to the Prima Official Game Guide, did you read the reviews? Most don't seem to consider it very good, lacking essential details, etc. If you still want it, that's fine too, but you may not be missing much is all I'm saying. And of course it's going to be missing a big chunk of content as all three story DLC aren't included.

It is a shame a DA:I GotY edition will not be printed. I got the Legendary edition of the Skyrim guide and it is really top class; but as you say, the reviews for the DA:I guide are very mixed. Many people, myself included, like to have a top quality guide as a luxury collectors item and memento of a great game.

I have the Prima guide although tbh I only really use it for the puzzles mostly the Temple of Mythal ones and some of the more complicated Astrariums

I coulda' saved you £70!  Temple of Mythal Puzzles 1-4.
