Certainly I have been happy to be carried shamelessly help my highly skilled North American and European colleagues in many a match, but as I am trying to reduce the amount of time I spend in horrible PUGs, are there any players from this side of the world who don't mind putting up with me hip-firing the Black Widow at hungry Praetorians with full barriers 5cm from my face? And who don't mind the occasional expenditure of five missiles just for the purposes of 'sploding Dragoons?
 
Marksmad, indeed I did read your FAQ post with great joy and appreciation at every word for its remarkable clarity and helpfulness.  However, as far as I can tell, I'm the only player from Japan to have posted in the PC mustard race matchmaking thread, there are only two Aussies, and that's about it. As I assume there aren't that many players over here in the Pacific, and as far as I know there are no BSN forums for anyone speaking Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean, I figured asking in the biggest MP forum was the best bet. Mods please move or merge as necessary.  
 
So if there are any other Japanese, Pacific-side Russians, Koreans, Chinese, Hong Kongers, Singaporeans, Aussies or Kiwis (or any other nearby timezone) out there playing, this here Saikyo Mustard would like to join in. I don't think so, although Origin can be set to Japanese and sells products in yen. There is a fairly extensive leaderboard for N7/CP rankings in Japan, although not that many highly skilled players. There are a few on top with ridiculously high CP, but then I am #67 in CP, so that tells you something about the competition.

We have a fair number of really competent players in Oz - Hamletic, Emexxia, and Panda5onix spring to mind - and I regularly bump into good players with Japanese names in pugs. You should FR some of the BSNers by looking down the "Everybody put your information here" thread linked from "Looking for a Game".

 

That said, lag free games across the world are easy enough to construct, as long as everyone involved has decent connections.
