On Wii U, I have a lot of Japanese ME3 friends so I picked up a few here and there. Also stayed in Japan for a bit when work sent me there many years ago. 
Several of my most fun matches were with Japanese players. Gold duos, platinums, you name it.

All this Japanese chatter makes me remember one distinct gold I was invited to. The three other players were all Japanese buddies of mine and it was full on voice chat and everyone goofing around. Reapers in FB Jade. Every time one would get sync killed, the entire voice chat would erupt in laughter. We all got a taste of getting laughed at and it got so goofy that it got to the point were it was hard to pick up what they were saying. The last part was when we got a device spawned right out in the open and two got sync killed, and the two of us tried to lure everybody away so one of us would get to do the device. But, we never got it right. lol. There was always a Brute, a banshee or some other crummy reaper to mess up the one who went to the device. Mission failed, but I had so much fun there.
