I love this gun. I fell in love with it when I was sort of a noobish venom user that time (heavily relied on my controller's vibration for charged up shots). So if I was feeling a bit lazy and just wanted to SLOWLY f up Geth/Cerberus, Falcon GI/GE is what I usually do.

There's no real reason to use it with a maxed manisfest, besides variety. It staggers and applies well ammo, but does only very little damage. So it's OK for gold on characters who can chain combos or have high direct damage powers, but I would not take it for a platinum PUG game.  

 

It's fine on Platinum PUGs. In fact, I'd argue that it's a sublime PUG weapon. I've used it on QFE many times, cryo ammo and Adrenaline III or Shield IV. It is spectacular for CC and since it completely pummels Phantoms and Goons, it trivializes Cerberus enemies. It's good for the aforementioned boxing in enemies for other CC powers, or just pure gun damage from others. It's also very nice at destroying things that other people tend to ignore (geth turrets, combat drones, seeker swarms) in a way that doesn't burn ammunition or waste much time.

 

One of the other advantages is that since its burst damage is pretty meek, it excels at staggerlocking Abominations and allowing people to get away from them before they explode.

It's made redundant by the existence of the Adas and Venom, but at least it's not as bad as the Krysae.

I use it mostly on the TSent and Slayer with incendiary ammo and try to set off as many FEs as possible. The Falcon feels underpowered against single enemies, but is great for groups. Staggering three phantoms and then blowing them up with chain overload never gets old.

Cerberus are a joke with that setup, except maybe Atlases take a bit longer to take down. But everything else can't even come close as you stagger them with Falcon, zap them with Overload, burninate them and then troll them with zappy drone for good measure

Also like it on my Cryosoldier. Lighter than the Venom means I can get away with a Hurrdurrcane or CSMG for armor while keeping CS as spammable as possible.
