This could be asking for too much but I'd like real bromances in addition to the romances, something that sets it apart from just talking to everyone a certain number of times. A friendship that others acknowledge, unique scenes, the whole package just like with your LI.

Might not be worth the trouble to implement, Just felt like everybody was best friends with Shepard in the original trilogy no matter what you do or say, so it didn't stand out as much.

I'm sure everyone had their own favorite buddy, imagine if the game actually showed that.

I'd like that too. I liked Garrus and Tali be such close friends, I really liked them, and it was good with my headcanon of them being great friends with my Shepard. But I never felt or wanted such friendship from Liara. I never encourage her in a friendly manner, yet she was obsessed with Shepard. It felt, quite frankly, creepy at times.

I'd love to have recognition of friendships, and not only romances.

Remember how ME3 was supposed to be "sexier"? LIE!!!!!! They rushed it. Not saying it was bad. It was great. But to make a game truly great take 5 to 6 years. ME3 was not sexier at all. Well hopefully bioware got the hint and " witchered" the romances for MEA.

They have too many romances to account for. That's the problem with ME3, they carry over the romance from the first 2 ME games, so they either removed a bunch of them like Jacob and Thane or make them very shallow like with Jack and Miranda. That's the problem with having new LIs. They could probably focus on developing a full on deep romance like games without LI options but stick the main protagonist with a main female throughout the entire game, making it plot points related. They could benefit from not having as much LIs but make it more involved overall. Maybe add in consequence, it's a bit weird how you flirt and cheat on your LIs all over, but they don't care and still want you. It was pretty awesome where both Triss and Yen break up with you for being a fboi.

I'd like to see more interaction. So, to keep interest up you have to talk to them more. Kinda like with ME1 when checking on Williams to get an idea about mission, you can get more interesting tidbits, depending if you bring them or not. Stuff like leaving them behind has consequences, as well as have the option to argue with them if they don't wanna come along (i.e. Sten battle for who should lead). Gifts would be good again though maybe the need isn't as necessary but it gives you something to talk about if you find a nice rock off a planet somewhere; bonus points for getting a rock that matches their eyes.

To add another element, make appearances matter! If you look the toad, no "Miranda" for you, unless you're really persuasive (see gifts, talking, etc.).

I'd bet a toad with MONEY would get more girls than us. It's sucks but that's the world we live in.

I like some with the core crew as it can change dialogue on missions, which I like.  But sleeping with your crew is a bit dodgy isn't it?  Pretty sure you'd be hauled up to a disciplinary board in ME1 for Ash or Kaidan.

At this point you're already a Spectre and thus not compliant to the Alliance. It's not like they can stop you.

True, and with the Kaidan romance in ME1 (I'm not that familiar with Ashley's) they talk about the risks of fraternization and originally agree to keep things professional between them, at least until their next shore leave.  It isn't until Ilos when they've already stolen the Normandy that Kaidan says fraternization will be pretty low on their list of charges at their court martial.  So, at that point, they just don't care.

True, true.  Someone needs to tell the Alliance that, they've still got you being their errand boy.

There should be a feature where your character's face is pasted on BSN and all the users have to vote on whether they are allowed to do a romance judging on how ugly it looks.

 Snip

I'd love to have recognition of friendships, and not only romances.

                                                                                      <<<<<<<<<<(0)>>>>>>>>>>

 1.- No romance with subordinates.

Failure to observe military code of conduct can lead to critical mistakes or compromised security (btw, the PC is military trained).  With humanity's existence in the balance, our hero must look outside the chain of command to satisfy biological needs and always maintain Operational Security. Are the romance options for the PC restricted to the above? Will our hero's personal aide remind the boss to avoid personal entanglements?

2.- Always make decisions based on the "greater" picture.

Our hero cannot allow friendship to get in the way of tactical decisions.

Rommel's aide, for example, recounted a story where the general's convoy was under attack and he (the aide) was injured. Rommel continued his escape leaving the aide behind.  On re-uniting with the general later, Rommel said to him ... paraphrasing here: " take no offense at my actions, as a leader you cannot allow yourself to be bogged down by friendship..."

Will the writers include a similar missions as above? Perhaps the temptation to break the "rules" with consequences down the road?

Hahahah, _exactly_. Would need some smooooth talking to get past that skin suit. Now Jack, totally different story.

Then there should be a video forum where the writers have to explain why the "BSN-failed" relationships would work anyways. Real-world examples required! lulz

I don't really care one way or the other how they handle romances.   Just don't want to be pushed into a romance just for trying to get to know someone.

I'd like to see the relationship you have with a character be better reflected while out in the field. I mean, this isn't a huge deal, but I always thought it would've been cool to have your LI get upset when Shep got critically injured during a mission. Not anything crazy, but like a "noooo!" or "Shepard!" just would've made the relationship feel like something that exists outside of cutscenes as well.

I'd like that, and an expanded version of DA: I's 'join in with companion banter' system would be nice, too. I thought there was a lot of potential in that idea, and it's a shame that it came up so rarely.

I want an impact by normal dialoges when Rayder talks to a Possibleloveinterest. An OnlyFemRayder Male Character talks about things from himself on another way as when he talks with a MaleRayder with him he will only be a Best friend or something else. A love interest that is open for both gender should talk about His past or what happend to the MaleRayder on another way and other Details as if he talks to FemRayder. Some Informations from this Character will be released later then usualy.

Rider, I think. It is the speculated name for the protagonist of Mass Effect: Andromeda.

I wouldn't object to a cut scene where an alien NPC or squad mate says to our protagonist:

"Absences to love what wind is to fire

it extinguishes the small and inflames the great

I sense that your love is definitely great"

LOL, could be a scene from a futuristic Blooming Rose.
