Because you come off as a dude with all the cool & humorous things you say.

I will have to reread posts now. Probably will be funnier.

Well played

I felt that they did an excellent job with the DAI romances, like there was something for everyone. So if there was an equivalent of that in Andromeda, I would be happy. I also think the whole approval/disapproval thing was a great feature, and made things feel more real, and would love to have that in the game and have it applied to the romances. After all it makes sense if someone disapproves greatly everything you do that they would probably not want to romance you and vice versa.

If they want to go that route, I just hope the romance distribution is better than DAI and ME3.

Besides than straight females having two more(both of whom were race-gated), how was the distribution in DAI bad? Other than minor orientations(those outside bi/hetero/homosexual) having zero to one LI of that orientation?

Id always imagined her as Henry Winkler.

Leather jacket and everything.

Now I guess I'll go with Barry Humphries.

one of those two options could have been gay or bi. Having 2 extra options for one group is just not a good way to go about this, especially when one of the reasons is time constraint, Cullen is supposed to be bi, there are a lot of dialogues between Cullen and male Inquisitor as well as companions commenting on it.

I agree. Everyone should have equal options. At least you had options. Be thankful you got that at least.

Cullen is straight. That's what the devs decided to do, so no he is not supposed to be bi.

You know, with posts like these, I have to ask, what exactly distinguishes the perspective on sexuality in a Bioware game from that of other more conventional media like Jane Austen or even just some random Hollywood movie?

The more I read about these questions and perspectives, the more I begin to ask whether there is any reason to really have a distinction.. my understanding is fans are attached to the way these characters engage each other and yet they seem to attach to them often for reasons similar to why people might like Leo and Kate in Titanic or something...

Well the biggest difference I would think people would suggest is that they are LGBT but even that at least exists in Hollywood movies and other media as well...

Yeah, that's why they did so many recording lines for Cullen, even companion comments on the relationship and romance conversation between him and male inquisitor, even an ending for male Inquisitor.

I guess we should just accept whatever bone they throw at us, that's a very condescending way to talk about about someone's opinion and suggestion.

They did lines and scenes for Ashley and a female Shepard too, yet didn't use them. Does that mean she is bi too?

How is having a quarter of the LIs be available for homosexual relationships with men "just accept whatever bone they throw at us"? That is as fair as it can get without that orientation getting the majority.  And don't talk to me about condescension, Mr. "I don't want LIs being of a non sexual nature".

LGBT is getting more popular in series and movies as far as i understand (i don't watch much tv so i wouldn't know if this is actually true)

I wouldn't either, also not watching as much TV or movies, but one way or another the more I think about it the fans needs seem like they basically want a Victorian style-romantic element... or actually even like a typical American one with lots of dating, etc, for the most part.

Worse ending than Mass Effect.

She killed him and kept the diamond then lied to the investigators.

There's room on the damn board, you heartless crone!

I think that a facial recognition program should be integrated. This way if you are really hideous your romance options can be more realistic

Officially, I don't support this. However, I would pay to see players' reactions if their likeness was deemed undesirable by the characters in-game.

Don't forget she then threw the priceless gem overboard rather than selling it to support her family.

That is different. That is the same lines, which they all recorded for. For this, Cullen has completely unique lines between the two, you can't find the same with any other characters like straight Sera or straight Dorian or gay Blackwall if you think that it's intended.

2 options just like with every other games out there, so you're making it as if they make some major changes to that or something, even then, I find some problem with how they handle Dorian's story but that's a different topic.

I wouldn't go that far. Sure, maybe there's a considerable group of people with a particular preference in style but i believe that everyone with an interest in romance just want to see it bloom in a proper way.

Gosh...
