I beat dragon age Origins a long while ago, first on Xbox and again on PC once I rebought it and I wanted to try and make the story how I remembered it so I could import it to dragon age Inquisition which I just got.

 

BUT, what I remember happening doesn't seem to be a choice in the editor. And it's a pretty big choice. I'm wondering if I glitched the game or if I am missing something somehow. SPOILERS FOLLOW

 

I REMEMBER Alistair became king alongside some woman, and the two of them ruled even though they weren't happy about it. And I THOUGHT I survived the whole ordeal at the end by having a baby with Morrigan. However, on the keep editor the two choices are seemingly exclusive I have to either say Alistair ruled and I died, or that I survived and he died.

 

END SPOILERS Something is up because I definitely don't remember that! I can't get my old save file on this computer and it was before the days of origin and the cloud so I don't have it backed up so I can double check. Can someone confirm if this is a bug or if I'm doing something wrong?

It works for me. I started a new keep state and entered -

 

- A male warden character under the hero options.

- Morrigan had an Old God Baby under companion options.

- Alistair and Anora rule under the landmeet options.

- Warden alive and well under hero options.

THANK YOU! That was it. I had to go into the other section and choose that we had the Old God Baby. Then it prompted to change that Alistair was dead to Alistair was king. Thank you so much! I usually remember stories so I couldn't believe that I diddn't remember it properly much less that incorrectly! Thank you Abyss!
