Alright but picture this: teeny bitty qunari kids with budding horns that itch all the time.

They probably look similar to the draenei children in World of Warcraft. They're pretty darned cute.

Well, actually, "Where are the cows?" is a good question...

There are a few, like the child who helps Hawke find her mother in DA2, and a couple of others, but over all children are not a large part of DA or ME games, not sure why, not like you can kill them, like in fallout 1&2, guess it was too 'difficult' to come up w/children, or hairstyles, or real black, or hey lets have it raining all the time in da:I, to explain the shiny crooked armor, fact is, EA cracked the whip & their flunkies madea ****** poor sequel, sorta like the offal ME3, was, its only saving grace was its multiplayer, which reeked in da:I

Go ahead, shriek insults at me, bioware went down epically hard when Greg & Ray bailed on bioware & EA lept at the chance to own a franchise they knew they'd make a ton of $$ from.

Frankly, frostbite sucks, it was made for racing games, so we got dull exact same boring hair for both genders, shiny car paint hair color, no healing magic for mages, so we could spend hours looking for herbs, b/c they wanted to boast it had HOURS of game play, no it had hours of collect shards, connect dots in the sky, be pc, have coryepheus (who some of us killed in Legacy) be the villian b/c originality is gone from bioware, so from baldurs gate to a lame overpriced vapid storyline, 'your worship'

Lame

Insult me, I could care less.

Never even noticed. Not missed. Thinking about it now, I could watch a bajillion random movies or tv show episodes and never not see a single kid, either. I got over the whole "does something exist if I'm not there to see it" thing after age 6 (as a kid, appropriately enough!).

Reason why kids must be avoided like plague in every video game is...

They're languishing on the list of things the devs never got around to implementing.

I'd like to see more child characters, better written than they have been, if only to help flesh out the world.
