Dynamic Wound Implementation?

Now maybe a few examples;
Let us say we are in a scenario where we are in a fight or have to talk someone down from doing a certain action (for example threatening to kill you) and you are personally in danger, if you do a wrong action, and you get shot, shouldnt these thibgs stay on you for the game?
if I get seriously wounded during a encounter for example with a tank or veichle, with a cutscene and all cant there be some way for the game to add these stuff on your character
Now for some this may sound stupid but would it not help contribute to your relations and care for your character as you know that he can be hurt permanently as a result of your action in form of scars etc?
I do not demand a Big Boss scenario where you pretty much lose you eye and hand (but would still be cool...) but somethig along those lines.
Because I find it perculiar in cases such as Mass effect 1-3 you character never changes physically except in character creation mode, and eventhoug of all action Shepard has encountered he never got hurt because of you actions permanently?

Well it would certainly add tons of realism feels and increase immersion, but I suspect it's not as easy to implement it as, say, proper hairstyles. Either that, or people would find it just too hindering and bothersome.

I earned these scars on Feros and Noveria and Ilos and Virmire and the Collector Base and Thessia and Tuchanka and Rannoch!
Would have been nice if we could see some those scars. Sad they didn't have a scene for veteran players of their accumulated battle scars.

I believe this is what you're getting at.
And yes to the OT. I'd be down with a grittier character for a grittier environment.

Yes and no! AFAIK, your character will take permanent damage as well

Ahh, didn't know that. Haven't seen much about your actual human self yet. My old roommate is the one holding the torch for Star Citizen.
I think it's great but I'm a bit unnerved by the "super-guild" that's already in place. I don't play games to be in guilds with 4000+ people that require tryouts and skill testing questions.
Game looks great but I might have to pass it by due to the human content. We'll see once it's out though.

Which one is that one? I'm in BSI and they do some training with you before they send you out for the big stuff, but otherwise they're pretty casual.
