I'm right there with you. Thing is, people don't need to have sex in order to have a connection. I'd respect Bioware a whole lot more if they regulated some of the less humanoid aliens to platonic relationships. Nothing wrong with that. In fact, it sounds really intriguing and different for an LI.
It's just a bit annoying when Tali could die if I sneezed on her.....but all of the sudden Bioware is telling me I can bone her (because 'hey' a lot of fanboys wanted to bone her). Too much fan service is a detriment to creativity and overall quality imo.
