So at the end of Trespasser you are given a choice to keep the Inquisition or disband it. When deciding to keep the Inquisition it says "Efforts against Solas will be stronger" and when disbanding it says "Efforts against Solas will be weaker."

So I have to wonder then that in DA4 if the main antagonist is Solas and we have to defeat him (or redeem him), how many different games Bioware will have to make to include in DA4 to contain all the major decisions you made. There is Dragon Age Keep for this, but then fundamentally, what is meant by "efforts will be stronger/weaker."

It seems they'll have to include two games in one to account for the different choices people made. This will require a lot of time in itself as they'll almost be two separate plot progressions as you play through DA4.

Or, does Bioware simply dumb it down and your choices in DA:I and Trespasser will not end up mattering?

They will not make 2 games. I think Solas will succeed no matter what we do. I don't know who say from Bioware but what is great about having IP witch is your own is you can do what you want, can build castle and than break it if you want. So I think they will break Thedas by removing veil.

Most decisions in Bioware games are flavor, and while some have effected plots meaningfully they have never had a major impact on their ability to lead linearly into one another. DA:4 won't be multiple games in one no matter what you choose to do with the Inquisition or what your Inquisitor intends for Solas, the same way preserving or destroying the collector base and your choice of councilor for humanity had no significant impact on ME:3 or its ending. Even if that's an underestimation, I wouldn't bet on getting the kind of game you're talking about. Yet to say it's "dumbing it down" if we don't also isn't fair. There's a lot to be said for fluff. People argue endlessly over fluff on these forums, and sometimes decisions in previous games change characters, quest options, and lots of other things in between the beginning and the end of the game.

While I do ultimately believe Bioware will keep the game the same for the purpose of simplicity, I end up wondering how they'll account for "efforts will be stronger/weaker" in the next game.

One way to do this might be to have two different prologues and then they'd both transition into the same content. Purely all speculation on our part until we know in a few years when DA4 is released.
