For me, it would probably be Cole's personal quest (even though Cole's not my favourite character). The scene with the Templar.
I remember that I liked the whole scene because of how Cole delivered his lines. It was also interesting because it shows how spirits react when they cross the veil. How you resolve his quest was also an interesting part of his story because you can encourage to be 'himself' or adapt to his new environment. The interaction between Cole, Varric and Solas were brilliant which reflected on how to resolve the situation. So far I have only made Cole a spirit and the theme of forgiveness and encouraging him to keep his spirited nature was a powerful scene. I also remember that the background music was perfect for the scene as well because it was dramatic.
For a lighter scene, I would have to choose the community service Florianne scene because it gives a bit of light relief after the Winter Palace quest. ![]()

Well, my favorite quest in the series is The Last Straw in DA2. It's quite rare for a game to have your final battle be against a genuinely superior force where you don't know how you'll even survive, much less triumph, but DA2 actually pulls it off. Everything's collapsing, you have to fight your way through demonic incursions and templar patrols to reach the Gallows, and then the final strike outward... it's very well done, except for the Orsino idiocy, but that wasn't the fault of the writers, so I'll forgive them.
Now, for Inquisition... In Your Heart Shall Burn, for the same reason. The red templars make for quite a menacing invading army, and Corypheus' introduction is great; I particularly liked it as an elf because of the huge contrast between my Inquisitor's size and Corypheus'. DAI could easily have been my favorite Dragon Age game if the rest of the game maintained that level of quality.

Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts is my favorite
The plot is the best, I even restarted the quest when I finished it because the ambient is awesome. and the final dance with your romance makes it a really complete quest

Wicked eyes and wicked hearts is my favorite to play through. Gossip, murder and dancing, my three favorite past times. And the level of gossip, silly outfits and cheesy moments just make me so happy. I always leave the Winter Palace with a grin.
Mark of the Assassin was my favorite questline in DA2 for similar reasons.
On the other end of the emotional spectrum:
Blackwalls personal quest struck a cord with me the first time I played it.
It was a very profound experience but I don't get to play that quest often, Blackwall is not impressed with my behavior. (Hangs head in shame).

For me the most dramatic moment that felt truly epic was the whole section of the battle of Haven. Finishing that up, trudging through the snow, then finding the others and hearing 'the dawn will come' for the first time ever, to be capped off with the wonderful discovery of Skyhold with the epic music....omg the feels. So many feels. I've actually done it twice as I restarted and the second time couldn't top that first experience. Yes the song is cheesy but I absolutely love that sequence. No cutscenes in any DA have gotten me quite like that one.
Also Bull's romance. To have a LI who acknowledges the stress and responsibility you feel as Inquisitor, and tell you that with him you're safe and don't have to be in charge...everything's okay, was really lovely and quite powerful. There I was thinking the whole romance was 'riding the bull, snigger snigger snigger' when in fact it had more depth than any DA romance I've done so far.
For DA2, last run I did Legacy after Leandra dies in Act 2, whereas before I'd done it earlier. I took Bethany as a circle mage and the conversations we had about our grief, and the added comment from Aveline when she gets a lump in her throat as she loved her too, was very memorable for me.

Hah! I love that. ![]()
I found it hard to make him happy too, miserable old sod. ![]()
Sadly I'd been spoilered to death about Blackwall so I guessed the whole thing. I think I may have guessed anyway, but I'll never know, and never know what impact it would have had on me if I wasn't a curious idiot that frequents way too many BSN threads.

It's not really a quest, but I love the scene in Sera's romance where you have to talk her down after she dreams you've died. I love the super-quick tonal shift from impotent frustration and rage to jokes and doe-eyed love. So very Sera...

In all seriousness, the Temple of Mythal. The Temple was just great with the puzzles, choices, and twists, and really the only quest in the game that I thought was excellently done.

A Tevinter Relic Hunt, during which you explore The Still Ruins. I like everything in The Western Approach actually. TWA and Emprise du Lion are my favorite maps in the game.
The Last Resort of Good Men. Not going to get too much into it, but I like that you get to see the other side of Dorian, and also that you can set the tone of your relationship with him in how you deal with this quest; not just in the fact that you can be supportive, or not, but in HOW you choose to do that.
In Your Heart Shall Burn. I'm not sure sure I classify this as a "quest," since it's a plot mission, but it is one of the more epic moments in the entire game for me. Also, Corypheus's monologue never gets old. "Bow before the will that is Corypheus!"

da2, when anders blows up the chantry, I think it was the only time i covered my mouth and said out loud "what the bleep did you do om god" , in a vidio game.
dai , i liked when dorian and his dad meet. dorian's delivery was really good.

I'm gonna go with something different, since most of the really nice quests have already been mentioned.
I loved luring the Dragon in Western Approach. But what made it all worth the trouble I went through, it was just to hear Iron Bull get giddy like a little kid in a candy store, he was so excited to beat the dragon and the dialogue was diabetes-inducing! And not only that, after beating the Dragon, that really jumpstarted my romance with Bull, it felt like killing the dragon brought us together, VERY ROMANTIC! So I will always think highly of said quest!

Wait, really? Not to be rude but, "Kill 10 rams" was a highlight of DA:I for you?
For me I think the entire sequence of "In Your Heart Shall Burn", the attack on Haven and Corypheus' introduction was absolutely incredible and the subsequent wandering through the snow really impressed the mood of desperation. The singing, though cheesy was good in it's own way and my favorite line from the Inquisitor happens here, "This all started over arguments about the next world, it's time we start caring about this one". Afterwards all the Peter Jackson inspired cinematography when going to Skyhold topped it all off in a really epic fashion.

It was so good wasn't it? The amount of times I've experienced something that EPIC (to use an overused word) in a video game I can count on one hand. Bravo Bioware.
I watched a YT video of it and the guy who directed the cinematic scenes responded in the comments thanking everyone who enjoyed it, and saying it took him ages to get it all just right. I love that he did that.

DA:I- As said above, In Your Heart Shall Burn was EPIC. I recorded it and then watched it again and again. The whole sequence was beautifully done.
Here Lies The Abyss was hard for me, since in my first playthough I had Hawke and warden Alistair (that romanced my mage warden). I had Varric in my party. Having him ask where is Hawke (twice!) was heart-wrenching. Since Hawke romanced Anders, I figured he would probably end up blowing up something else...
The whole part where my dalish inquisitor found out the truth about the elves really didn't go over well. All that hard work in preserving the elven ways and for what? you've been doing it all wrong!
In DA2 All That Remains really left me shocked when they revealed Leandra. I was determined that I could've saved her, and will do so in my second playthrough. It didn't go over well when I realized I couldn't. Hate to admit it, but I cried both times.
Anders blowing up the chantry left me with- WTF Anders?! I had to stop playing for a few minutes.
DA:O- Great game that started my Dragon Age obsession. As a mage warden I liked Broken Circle and finding out that everything just went to **** while I was gone. It was also hard to see what happened to Cullen and how it changed him.
I know it is not a quest, but I believe that this is where the banter was at it's greatest.

Hah, this was me on my first DAO play. Made Alistair king, refused dark ritual, and the man insisted on sacrificing himself. I replayed the final battle three times trying for different dialogue options so I would die instead, but no such luck. And he wasn't even my boyfriend.

Don't really have a favourite quest in DA2 personally I just enjoy it all in general
For DAO I'd asy Broken Circle the mage tower mission and especially the fade section wher eyou get to shapeshift into other creatures to frind a way through to fight Sloth.
In DAI probably the Adamant mission with the Wardens and again that Fade section was interesting again as well at least for me so I'd probably say that. I did like the investigating elven ruins parts of DAI as well Dinan Hanin I think it was and the Temple of Mythal.

The battle at Haven and In Hushed Whispers. The music is so very sad, and my inquisitor is always shocked and quite frightened when he's transported in the blink of an eye like that. It's a very lovely introduction for Dorian (as the templar route is for Cole), whom I'm not normally a huge fan of.
After that it's all downhill from there lol Although Trespasser was fantastic, of course.
EDIT: I haven't played DAO enough to have a favorite quest. Favorite DA2 quest would be Fenris whole "escape from slavery" revenge questline, of course ![]()

Self-defence, not revenge. Sorry
I think it is both... certainly it is a demon that needs to be slain for Fenris. I don't get the impression that he wants to kill Danarius simply for his own personal safety. Fenris is a very proud man, and that monster has stepped all over it, spat upon it, ripped it up and god knows what else. Fenris will actually leave your party if you refuse to help him... and I don't think it's simply self-defense that causes him to do that (and go after Hadriana - and by default, Danarius).

- Escaping Fort Drakon! The first time, I told Alistair to give the wrong answer to the superior guard, so we couldn't get the password and we had to fight our way out, and met Leliana and Morrigan on their way to rescue us. The second time we got out peacefully, but it was still fun.
- The haunted orphanage in Denerim was creepy and sad. It stood out to me as one of the darker quests in a game full of dark quests.
DA2:
- I spoiled myself on almost everything in the game, since, out of the 3 existing, it was last I played. However, All That Remains totally shocked me. When Quentin was giving his crazy monologue with Leandra doing the Thriller... I'll never forget FemHawke's worried tone while following the trail to his lair. My "uh-oh" senses were tingling, but I thought "Surely they wouldn't kill Mama Hawke!"
Aveline and Hawke's LI offering words of comfort afterward earned bonus feels points.
- When we went to confront Bartrand in his mansion, and I got to shoot the place up as Varric.
DAI:
- It's been mentioned a bunch already, but the first time playing through In Your Heart Shall Burn was captivating. From when Solas and Cassandra accompanied the Inquisitor to seal the breach, to the Haven folk celebrating, to the probable doom staring you in the face as you man the last trebuchet, to the long trek through the snow, to finding Skyhold... to... to...
- I know some didn't like it, but In Hushed Whispers effected me, too. Especially the first time, when I didn't actually know whether we would get back to our own time or not. The bleak, hopeless atmosphere was well done, and seeing our companions in that state was sad. After playing DAO and changing my world state accordingly, I got that unexpected glimpse of Connor disappearing in a blaze. They hit the depressing nail on the head, me thinks.
- Revelations.
- Chateau d'Onterre in te Emrald Graves. I missed this little quest in all the playthrough a prior to the one I'm currently on. It's out of the way, but interesting. And my companions had little comments here and there that I never got the chance to hear before.
