I always hate executing him. I want to slap Sebastian!

Sebastian a bad ruler, his army uses it for the consummation of his own revenge, until all of them potential danger.

I loved In Hushed Whispers in DAI, because it had some really cool banter, especially if you take Varrick and Blackwell in addition to Dorian - it felt a bit like some banter in Doctor Who or Firefly (two of my favorite shows). It had some nice lovecraftian elements too - like the Great Old Ones ruling again or something like that. I was almost disappointed, that the Old One not turned out to be Cthulhu or Shub-Nyggurath or Nyarlatothep, despite being spoiled about his identity ![]()
So, yes, that was a pretty cool quest. And it made me almost feel sorry for that magister. I wanted to kill him and then, I couldn't seeing how he acted with his son Felix (I love Felix too).
Exactly, which isn't really all that surprising with Vivienne.I thought Vivienne's was disappointing because there was so little interaction with her. A significant chunk of the quest boiled down to a fetch quest that she is not even required to attend.
I was so disappointed with Varric's quest. I love Varric to death and I expected Bianca to be pretty impressive. But I hate her voice actor and she turns out to be the biggest derp in all of Thedas and after we find out what she did, she threatens the Inquisitor! What the hell.
Just what it says. Is there a particular quest that resonated with you most? Made you laugh? Made you cry? Maybe it was particularly well-written or provided insight into your favorite character / race / bit of lore?
Can also cite your favorite quests in DAO and DA2, if you like.
For me, "In Your Heart Shall Burn" was life-changing. I was (first playthrough) actually scared to click it. I thought the game would end! So playing this incredible chapter, so moving and apocalyptic, and realizing OHMYGOD it was just the beginning? That was when I was all-in with this game. I was in love. That was it. Culminating in "The Dawn Will Come" and the discovery of Skyhold. I cannot believe this is the beginning of the game, and applaud everyone who made us work thinking it was so much different. Seriously. Gorgeous life-changing chapter.
I liked many other chapters, but for me, among the standouts are:
Dorian's quest -- I hate the stupid discrimination he suffers and love that we can help support him in proclaiming, simply, "This is who I am."
Bull's quest(s) -- I adore the Chargers and will always choose them. Sorry. Also love that Bull returns this trust with our accompanying him knowing he's going to be attacked. Again: love.
"Faded for Her," Solas. I was surprised and moved by this quest and by Solas's surprising and complex reactions. Solas is an amazing character, and this quest really sets him apart in so many ways.
Sera's Setup -- where we realize she's been set up and double-crossed in her Red Jenny work. I love it and am always moved by it.
I also love "Wicked Hearts and Wicked Minds" -- all that time trying to flatter people, to listen and learn, to move and flirt and seduce. I've played three playthroughs and this is still my favorite chapter aside from IYHSB -- so complex, so interesting and so memorable. My first Quizzie was so sweet and new she just listened to the minstrel and let those approval points tick away. The last few were more savvy, but also more regretful... and careful talking to Florianne.
I'd also add the final DAI push to the Temple of Mythal -- the music, constant and staggered presence of advisors and companions -- it really feels momentous and tremendous. I love it.
Last but not least, pursing Solas and the Viddasala through the eluvians only to finally get answers in "Trespasser" is pretty freaking rewarding. And more tender, complex and interesting than I expected, at least for romanced or high-friendship Inquisitors to Solas.
I was so disappointed with Varric's quest. I love Varric to death and I expected Bianca to be pretty impressive. But I hate her voice actor and she turns out to be the biggest derp in all of Thedas and after we find out what she did, she threatens the Inquisitor! What the hell.
Now you mention it I was expecting a lot more from the woman who probably had the most epic crossbow in all of Thedas named after her. It was just a bit meh really wasn't it?
I'm okay with her voice actor though.

Due to vertigo-related vision problems, I read that as "Wicked Hearts and Wicked Mints". Is that what you give Bull after too much fun at the tavern?
Seriously, though, I liked that quest, too... But my favorite is always going to be Fairbanks's chain of quests in the Emerald Graves. I like the idea of reclaiming the area from the Freemen of the Dales, and the scenery is really pretty.
The Trespasser main quest, by a mile. I loved In Your Heart Shall Burn, but Trespasser
... Trespasser had twice the drama of IYHSB plus more emotion than I've ever experienced in any game.
In Your Heart Shall Burn for its drama. Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts for its change of pace and atmosphere. In Hushed Whispers for its emotional and dramatic ending. Even amidst the chaos and destruction, I found Alexius' plight touching, and felt sorry for poor Felix.
And as a Solasmancer, All New, Faded for Her for (the first) heartbreaking glimpse of a deeply caring and emotional Solas.
What Pride had Wrought ![]()
In DAO and DA2.. mmmh.
The Battle of Denerim.. because epicness ![]()
And the one where Hawke's mom dies. Not sure why, but it left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. Also I played an extremely diplomatic Hawke but after that quest I felt like always picking the aggressive answer when Leandra was being discussed..
I liked Sera's "loyalty" mission.
In DAI, probably All New, Faded for Her. It's strange, but I loved the way my Rogue appeared to understand spirits and the fade thanks to her studies better than the wayward Mages involved. I also remember my surprise at needing to restrain Solas from murdering people in vengeance. It was my first moment where I realized he wasn't the incorruptible Paragon I had been deceived into taking him for. In retrospect, the scene makes my Inquisitor appear both intelligent and naive, and I'm okay with that. I also really enjoyed the talk with Solas afterward.
DAO:
- Escaping Fort Drakon! The first time, I told Alistair to give the wrong answer to the superior guard, so we couldn't get the password and we had to fight our way out, and met Leliana and Morrigan on their way to rescue us. The second time we got out peacefully, but it was still fun.
- The haunted orphanage in Denerim was creepy and sad. It stood out to me as one of the darker quests in a game full of dark quests.
DA2:
- I spoiled myself on almost everything in the game, since, out of the 3 existing, it was last I played. However, All That Remains totally shocked me. When Quentin was giving his crazy monologue with Leandra doing the Thriller... I'll never forget FemHawke's worried tone while following the trail to his lair. My "uh-oh" senses were tingling, but I thought "Surely they wouldn't kill Mama Hawke!"
Aveline and Hawke's LI offering words of comfort afterward earned bonus feels points.
- When we went to confront Bartrand in his mansion, and I got to shoot the place up as Varric.
DAI:
- It's been mentioned a bunch already, but the first time playing through In Your Heart Shall Burn was captivating. From when Solas and Cassandra accompanied the Inquisitor to seal the breach, to the Haven folk celebrating, to the probable doom staring you in the face as you man the last trebuchet, to the long trek through the snow, to finding Skyhold... to... to...
- I know some didn't like it, but In Hushed Whispers effected me, too. Especially the first time, when I didn't actually know whether we would get back to our own time or not. The bleak, hopeless atmosphere was well done, and seeing our companions in that state was sad. After playing DAO and changing my world state accordingly, I got that unexpected glimpse of Connor disappearing in a blaze. They hit the depressing nail on the head, me thinks.
- Revelations.
- Chateau d'Onterre in te Emrald Graves. I missed this little quest in all the playthrough a prior to the one I'm currently on. It's out of the way, but interesting. And my companions had little comments here and there that I never got the chance to hear before.
Yeah that's a really fun part of DA2 that I like taking control of Varric and Bianca and shooting everythimng that moved
My favorite quest in Inquisition was "The Abyssal High Dragon". Yes some of it is RNG ridden but the good parts of it aren't. Going through each of the dragons eating habits, finding bait, entering a hidden temple to find a tome relating to dragon research, and laying bait for the dragon before killing it. It felt really interesting and thought-out, like I was actually hunting something rare and powerful. It's was also cool to learn more dragon lore and I liked Fredric the NPC.
For Anders... Yes, I am.
I kind of liked HUNGER PAINS because it kind of reminds me of a scene from AUSTIN POWERS: THE SPY WHO SHAGGED ME

Lol. "GET IN MY BELLY!!!" Lol.
Seriously i am unsure. i kind of like it when the trainers come into town.
Reanimate Anders with necromancy. Kill him again.
My Amell would love to do that Anders, lol.

Not Vullia for me. She fell in love with him, slept with him, then killed him. reianimating him only to kill him again would make her seem crazy. Besides I doubt there was a Shakespear play about someone doing that anyway. Lol.

Well - my Anders is still alive on accident (i killed him in DA2... Made him alive in the keep. Now he's alive in my game...Crap!) so i want my Amell to kill him

I always liked reclaiming Emprise du Lion. Pushing the Red Templars back and taking the Lion's Keep felt like a mini-military campaign, then freeing the villagers from the quarry, rebuilding the bridge and clearing out the three dragons. My favorite map and series of quests by far.
Story wise, I liked Leliana's personal quest the most. Anything involving Leliana, really.
