Just landed in a random random lobby with two new manifest pugs. I have my GI Clymore 4 or 5 with level 1 consumables. I ready up thinking we're good enough, the then lobby changes to Geth. Ok, it's not Cerb, ready up again. And it changes to White. Whatever. it's not London, so I ready up again.

White starts up, I take my rocket off and then notice both pugs running toward the bottom end of the map near the new addition & it's ammo box. I go, "Ok, this is new to me, so I'll go along. Always did complain that if pugs are gonna camp, at least try camping new or different then norm spots."

The Talon Merc guarded the new addition, also keeping an eye on the LZ ladder. The Vorcha had a Widow and was always in lolhard blankets in that one area that contains a hack near new addition area. He was over cover grabbing and sniping with subnet help. I and a new pug that joined, QME, guarded the other ammo box on same side of the map. With me going back and forth as needed, because Geth Scanner vision and must aid the cries of pugs motto. And it made for a pretty interesting match. I guess. New pug habits interest me to no end. I only lost one gel in the process to a Prime Turret.

Next game I was disappointed the faction and map weren't changed. But I wanted to try one more time with that setup only different kit. SE Carnifex X, Cryo3 & Amp3. (Plus I knew how to make all enemies come below the steps outside that I wanted to try too) However, before we started, BSNer Abramsrunner joined up. I should of typed something there to warn him. But whatever, let it go. Lets study BSNers in wild with wild pugs and see what happens?

Well, it didn't work. Abramsrunner wanted to be a free bird just like all BSNers. As I do so myself in normal camping situations. But this case was special, and not wanting to upset either the pugs or BSNer, I instead did Salarian summersults until the issue resolved itself. Didn't want to disturb the delicate ecosystem of ME3mp pugland. Abramsrunner left under reasonable terms, and his replacement, a fatTurian of some sort, came replaced him and right away played along. Because he too was one of the native no manifest pugs.

TL:DR; this is what keeps me playing. The unpredictability of pugs in their natural habitat and how I have to adapt to their wild ways. I recommend more try it.

That was one of my many DC's that EA severs demanded of me today, & I haven't seen W/G/G with staying on the lower side of white since 2012, I had to check my calendar to make sure it wasn't 2012. I don't like leaving games, cuz I need my Machine Mastery waves.

It's always good to see newer players, reminds me of the old demo days when I see a <120 N7 player.

Lol PUGs are funny. Especially like the wild lone wolf that goes down every round or the sight seeing juggy because we all know he never scores many points. But I must say, I do not see many sniper rifle builds.

recently I had an N7 1 in a lol silver game

he clearly got a Crusader in his promo pack

he got sync'ed twice but otherwise fared quite well once he realized staying close to the higher N7 player playing the big Krogan might be a good idea

I never kick them, I figure I might as well try to L2carry when necessary, and at least the new pugs will get some credits to spend on those Spectre Packs they so desperately need so they can get the gear to be able to carry me :D

That's like solo with extra difficulty. You gotta be aware of how they will always force a spawn flanking you and you gotta figure out a way to kill them quickly during objective waves so that they don't muck it up... :)

I very rarely kick people, I usually just find a better lobby when I see crap like this.

Playing solo is actually easier than reviving suicidal pugs who were dancing out in the open between two Geth Primes/Scions.

I also don't see why I should compromise my fun because someone is too greedy/stupid to play at their appropriate level.

Yes, we know. But it's not as exciting when you have full control of the battlefield. This is why the the pug RNG is great. Keeps things fresh.

And yes. I don't like kicking either, unless in a lobby with someone I don't want to leave. But even then, I usually just leave instead. Kicking seems too harsh.

I consider them part of the challenge. Soloing is more predictable. Pugs can - and do make all kinds of weird stuff happen :P

I have no problem with one newbie in the game, but I refuse to carry an entire pack of them. That's just no fun for me and playing a game without having fun is a pointless waste of time.

Also, I expect people to show some effort. If they play a Huntress against Reapers and by wave 4 they only have 700 points, then they are either incompetent or leeching. I have zero patience with people like that and will leave the lobby right after the game.

Extraction isn't the only important thing... if it takes the team 30+ minutes to make it that far, then that means we struggled with the difficulty and wasted time. That also means it wasn't fun for me.

So hey, do whatever you want with those newbie pugs but leave me out of it. If "helping" them is fun for you, go ahead. It isn't for me and no one gets to tell me how I am supposed to play.

Most days I only have enough time for 1-2 games and I sure as hell want to enjoy those, not get frustrated by inept newbies who have no business playing anything but Bronze.

In response to op: not all bsners want to be freebrids running around all the time. Sometimes I like camping too, but this really depends on the loadout and map. White, Rio and Giant are all good candidates for camping.

^ Giant camping near LZ is quite depressing for me because it's been done so much. I'm much happier camping the other side, like I recall in my Silver pug days pugs doing. Lots more options/freedom that way.

LZ Giant camping is one I almost always quit on unless it's been awhile since I've done one or if it's only for some odd waves because we all ended up there and it's working out.

I sometimes go against the grain and free bird it anyway with campers in popular well known spots, but it's just not that enjoyable from the few I've done.

Second.

At least campers can help you reliably control the spawns and you can periodically check up on them to make sure their shoes are still tied and lunch boxes packed, etc.

You're aware 7twozero only plays soldier characters, resulting in a permanent N7 ranking of 20...or no?

^ No I didn't know that. Nor do I ever look at the N7 numbers. I only check for weapons, consumables, gear, kits and challenges points when I join a lobby. In that order too. And sometimes I don't make it to the last few.
