I've been, ahem, stuck in a Vault, so to speak, for over a month now, but this thread inspired me to have some actual fun instead.

 

I played 10 unknown (lol)silver games on PS3, levelling up an alt a/c, and the only time I wasn't part of a full-extraction team was due to a last second possessed abomb suicide that was just too much fun to try to avoid. I think I faced Collectors 7 times (!), and the overall team-play was outstanding - 30 objective waves and I only remember one guy staying outside the circle for a minute or so before joining the rest of us.  Everyone seemed to be helping, there was nobody showing off (well, maybe apart from the game after I unlocked a BatSol ), and I saw a grand total of 2 AIUs, 1 Jugg and 1 Harrier in those 10 games. I would get bored on Silver pretty quickly, but until such times as I unlock a piercing mod I'm happy to play there if the pugs I met are representative of the current active players.

 

Oh yeah, and a scoped Locust 1 might be the most underrated weapon in the game.

^ Giant camping near LZ is quite depressing for me because it's been done so much. I'm much happier camping the other side, like I recall in my Silver pug days pugs doing. Lots more options/freedom that way.

 

LZ Giant camping is one I almost always quit on unless it's been awhile since I've done one or if it's only for some odd waves because we all ended up there and it's working out.

 

 

I sometimes go against the grain and free bird it anyway with campers in popular well known spots, but it's just not that enjoyable from the few I've done.

 

Giant camping on the other side is a fun setup for a sniper team, but if you don't have snipers LZ surely is better. I think camping is something that can be more fun if it's planned and done in a private lobby.

I never kick them, I figure I might as well try to L2carry when necessary, and at least the new pugs will get some credits to spend on those Spectre Packs they so desperately need so they can get the gear to be able to carry me

Lol PUGs are funny. Especially like the wild lone wolf that goes down every round or the sight seeing juggy because we all know he never scores many points. But I must say, I do not see many sniper rifle builds.

oh, I guess it's because alot of us then didn't have enough good weapon mods for sniping. But then I got a Javelin and a Geth Scanner and was having a helluva time. (were it not for trophies and cool banners, I'd just stick to sniping)

oh, I guess it's because alot of us then didn't have enough good weapon mods for sniping. But then I got a Javelin and a Geth Scanner and was having a helluva time. (were it not for trophies and cool banners, I'd just stick to sniping)

I love my PUGs. I treat them like a bunch if fresh recruits because, let's face it, that's what they are. If not then they have not figured the game out for themselves and are in need of teaching.

I carry, revive even when I probably shouldn't, prime targets and cover sixes. Sometimes I even hang with the guys in horrible choke points just to keep them alive and of course the lulz.

I love camping the LZ with PUGs. It really puts you on your A game knowing that **** is about to hit the fan. Though I wouldn't recommend on platinum, gold is doable as long as you have a few pugs left to soak some bullets.

And we were for a few matches in a row. But after that I never accepted their game invites as that's all they wanted to do. Mindlessly farm money with me as their pug leader overlord.

This is where i come in, I let them farm their credits, then on pizza delivery or targets, i keep it to myself, the jabronies never expected me to be a double agent for the mooks, and right when the timer runs out I then send this message with my acolyte in morse code: "--. . - / .-. . -.- - / -.-- --- ..- / -.-. .-.. --- -.. ..."

I meant camping LZ on extraction. Camping during waves really not that bad.
