Getting ready for the romance.
Getting ready for the romance.
The demo music of the unreleased version of Final Fantasy VIII.
Personally, probably some Breaking Benjamin or Eminem. Metal, rock, rap, etc.Picture it. You are your ME:A character, looking out of your sleek, subtly beweaponed space craft at the beginning of your new adventure. Pieces of some vanquished foe's ship spin silently across the vista of the screeching void. In the distance you see the glint of the friendly ship you are expecting... or is it? It is time to relax... or is it?
As your adventure begins, a theme begins to play in the background, you listen to it and know what will happen next.
What is that theme?
For me, it's the Tron: Legacy soundtrack - this says everything about the "new dawn in the ME universe" context perfectly - if I were developing such a game I'd probably have the whole thing on a loop.
My Character would probably listen to these, He's from Northen Europe
and missing home back in Earth, butt also longs to seek new home where he truly belongs. Just being a Pioneer, seeking new home. I imagine it will be like Christopher Columbus but in space. It's a journey that will make you miss home back in the 'Old World' but once you get in the 'New World', you won't even look back
(even the song doesn't mean that way lol)
Since I want to play, more or less, a slightly snarkier Captain Picard, it'd probably be something along these lines:
(It's what he's listening to in the opening of First Contact.)
Failing that... Well, it'd certainly be quite the character quirk to have an explorer in another galaxy, in the far-flung future, who enjoys listening to a J-pop metal band from the early 21st century:
Absolutely no Beastie Boys, under any circumstances, though. (I actually really like the Beastie Boys, but my rather strong feelings regarding those "Star Trek" films in which they feature mean that I have no desire to experience them in a space opera context ever again.)
Just being a Pioneer, seeking new home. I imagine it will be like Christopher Columbus but in space. It's a journey that will make you miss home back in the 'Old World' but once you get in the 'New World', you won't even look back
Now you've got me thinking of Jacques Cartier in space.
To find a place, an ancient race.
Babymetal. Obviously.
Two instances of Babymetal on the same page? Put 'em in the game, BioWare!

The Faunts!
I didn't even notice your post before.
I actually have Karate stuck in my head right now. I only recently discovered Babymetal, but I love them.
Karate's great! Definitely my favourite song on the new album; Meta Taro's probably in second, but it's pretty much all great.
My favourite Babymetal song's still gotta be Gimme Chocolate!, though--it's the first I heard of them, on BBC Radio 1 of all places!
Of course this land is dangerous.
All of the animals
are capably murderous.
"Above us, there is nothing above, but the stars above."
Enjoy this song for whatever reason
