Yeah Triple Triad is awesome. That's why they brought it back for FFXIV.
I also don't want a ripoff, but I'm sure Bioware can come up with something inventive.
Stand alone Gwent I would buy and I didn't even like TW.
The card minigame in FF8(?) still gets talked about between me and my cousin.
So long as its not a rip off of what someone else has done I suppose.
Triple Triad - it's been (unofficially) spun into a web-game now: https://www.tripletr...lashonline.com/

So...a typical Bioware RPG
Noooooo! More distilled. Purified. No combat. No saving the galaxy.
Minigames could be fun, as long as they're optional.
Well X-2 was utter garbage. Puzzles are a different matter. I'm sure we will have to do at least one at some point during the story. Either the 4 units with 3 and 6 containers, or the tower of hanoi. ME1 had the latter while Kotor had both. I really don't mind if we have to think a bit between shooting. Its a bit disappointing if all the traps and ancient ruin or a very secret base can throw at us are automated defenses and two doors that need to be hacked.
Well that would be an improvement over the usual romance system.
Yep. It'll be more focused anyway.
As long as they remain completely optional, I would not mind them. However, I would like the return of Omni-Gel; dislike the locking mechanism from ME.
Unfortunately you have to wait 3 in game years to get one Omni gel converter
Unless you win the minigame tournament and get it as a prize.
Bowling, pool, and darts. That way whenever our character is on a mission, his/her cousin Roman can call and say "Hey, Ryder, what do you say we go bowling?"
And if you don't, Roman falls in with some real bad guys and gets into some big trouble that spills over into your plans.
Not just mini games, being able to play mini games with squad mates or other NPCs that have interactions with them would be nice.

Yeah well why else to put them in if not to play with NPCs?
If Bioware gives us a real influence system this time maybe we can use these minigames to increase our ratings.
Some will respect us more if we beat them, others want to win and we have to throw the game. Hmmm.
