Hi, new member here. Zehir is my favorite official module, but somehow it's quite hard to find complete walkthrough for this one (or even any walkthrough). I'm wondering is there anyhow that I can get these feats ?

Favored of the Road
Dark Knight
Demon of the Roads
Goldenhands
Hero of the Hidden Kingdom
Renegade of the Hidden Kingdom
Villain of the Mere
Yellow Dragon
Cobra Commander

Oh, and another, is Spirit Shaman actually good or not ? I only have experience with this class with Gann in MotB, but it seems it's not really possible to make someone like him from the scratch (too many perks unavailable in character creation).

Those are history feats that are rewards for completing certain quests, and some are contradictory so you can't get them all as you probably know.  I think you'd get Favoured of the Road by visiting all of the key locations and telling Volo about each one.

Like you, I only really played Spirit Shaman as Gann, and it strikes me as just a druid with sorcerer-like spellcasting.  I'd rather play druid.  Not sure what perks you mean, but since Gann was an epic-level character, it may just take a while to get what he has, unless he has something unique to his character as a hagspawn.

It depends on what you want out of the class, but yeah, it can be "good". There are stronger classes, but that can be said of most of them.

For what it's worth, I don't recall Gann having a very good build. Still, I don't know what you mean exactly by "someone like him" and "too many perks unavailable".

Well, I mean Gann is an exceptionally powerful character, but if I make a Spirit Shaman myself, there's no way I can get the same powers like Gann because some of his powers seem to be exclusively his, like natural Spell Resistance, AC bonus and Improved Empower Spell.

Ah yes, and about those history feats, so which quests I need to do for them ?

Is he? He's a level or two behind a human, his stats aren't any good and nor are his feats. Any shaman can get SR with a single spell, and 2 AC is nice but not exactly game-changing. He doesn't get Improved Empower Spell (Safiya does; you may have mixed them up).

If you reaaally want those kinds of racial bonuses, you can always play a yuan-ti or something (not worth it, IMO). Either way, you can easily make a better shaman than Gann.

PS: I don't know how to get those history feats.

In my game Sayifa, Gann and Kaelyn have Improved Empowered Spell feats ? I might be wrong here, I'm going to check again.

You're right, he does (a site I had checked doesn't mention it, but it is in his feat list in game). Still, while that's indeed an ability you can't get on a shaman, it's not THAT much better than normal Empower, and it's easy to beat Gann in other areas.

So, to answer your original question: If you consider Gann good, then yes, you can definitely make a good shaman.

I didn't mean it in that way. :P But if you were satisfied with Gann's performance, you can easily do better than him.

Spirit shaman has its flaws, but  it's a perfectly viable class. Druid is better on paper (better DC, animal companion, shapeshifting if you're into that...), but SS has spontaneous casting, which some people prefer (myself included). So, up to you.
