I just purchased MotA and downloaded and installed it, but even when I'm online in the game, there is no statue in my house! am I missing something? I sat with an EA person for two hours and he wanted me to uninstall origin. ( which I couldn't figure out how to back up origin from a mac so I decided not to)

I used to have the game with Origin on mac. I'm not sure what you mean? What are you trying to back up exactly? Save files? Origin functions pretty much the same as on Windows and you should be able to uninstall it from your mac the same way as removing other mac apps. You can back up your save game files in your Bioware folder, but you shouldn't need to unless you are going to reinstall the game as well.

Recently I've been having trouble installing some of the Mass Effect DLC from Origin. I tried reinstalling Origin but that didn't help so I went to the Bioware social network site (where they sell the Bioware Points and official DLC) and was able to download and install them manually from there. Origin recognized them the next time I ran it.

Make sure you are logged into the same Origin/EA/Bioware account.

Thanks for your reply, the EA advisor sent me to a website that said to back up origin itself, then delete it, but mostly I'm just trying to save my current playing character in dragon age 2. I uninstalled the game and then re installed but that didn't help. Im definetly logged into the same account inside the game, and I'm completely unsure of what else to do. When I start the game there is no statue for me to interact with like everyone says I need.
