Whenever one of my companions falls in combat and I have my mage cast a revival spell on them, they'll get back up again with their health at around zero, which normally wouldn't be a problem except I can't make them drink healing potions. The function just won't work, and then they immediately die again. Is this a glitch or is it actually supposed to be like that?? If it's the latter then that's about the stupidest idea ever and renders the concept of the revival spell pretty 'effing useless.
Healing glitch?

If you are having problems with drinking potions not healing your characters, is most likely because you have the Rub Dirt On It option for Trials enabled. If that is not the case, may well be a bug, but I've never seen anything like that.
What platform? I see the opposite on PC. IQ dies and then instantly gets back up with minimum HP, for no discernible reason. No Regen potions or Healing Mist grenades involved, nobody did a revive or was even near enough to do so. Barely possible that some kind of delayed damage triggered a heal on hit proc, but afaik my IQ didn't have any heal on hit gear.

No, the "rub dirt on it" option isn't enabled. Guess it's a glitch, then. Lucky me.

Do you have the wrong upgrade on Revival?

It only temporarily revives people, and would logically stop healing potions from working during that time.

Ah, that's probably it. Still pisses me off, though, knowing it was deliberate because again, it renders the concept of a revival spell completely useless.

Yeah, I don't get the point of that upgrade either. Luckily, you can just switch the upgrade.
