I made a male Shepard recently, with his nose wider than his mouth. I only realised my mistake during the intro scene, and it annoyed me so much that I went back and started again. Except now, the nose is so thin and pointy, and he looks weird. So from now on I just stick with the defaults.

I made a male Shepard recently, with his nose wider than his mouth. I only realised my mistake during the intro scene, and it annoyed me so much that I went back and started again. Except now, the nose is so thin and pointy, and he looks weird. So from now on I just stick with the defaults.

My new femShep, a simple girl from the colonies who had to toughen up when her family was attacked.  I named her Amy (super original I know), and she's a paragon so I wanted her to be sweet with a good heart and a face to match.

 

I used the default as a base but tried to round out her features to be cuter, and at least try to make her noticeably different from my original femShep.  No easy task, all the lady Sheps I've made so far have looked like sisters.

This is my "canon" FemShep aka the first Shepard I finished the trilogy with.

I didn't create her with a mindset of "must make her pretty" though. Just wanted her to look... distinctive enough.

Too bad I don't have any ME3 screenshots right now cause that CC didn't really treat her features well. She sorta reminded me of an angry owl . Still love it though.

 

With male Shep I gave up with CC and always go with the default =P

How is it possible that your M2 femshep looks so different from M1 ? My characters looked a bit different, but they still looked the same though. There I feel they are totally different characters despite having the same facial features.

yeah my ME1 characters generally look the same in ME2 as well the transition from ME2 to ME3 can be a bit weird though

All Female Shepards look alike... Sheesh.

You can make them quite different, it just takes way too much effort to do a decent face.  Drives me crazy creating a new femShep.

Yeah, I understand that; lol. I created my default Fem Shep out the default one, but she's paler with green eyes and a short, black colored hair, she's not very original, as I took the idea from one of the YouTube people I watch, who had a Shep who looked similar to my own Shep...

Used to drive me nuts in ME1.  I'd do something that I thought was ok and get to Eden Prime realize what a mess she was and start over.  ME2 and 3 were better for me.   But most of mine look related.
