I just want Cerberus's chief of armor design in Andromeda.

Even if that rumored leak is legit, it is always possible the shuttles could be placeholders.

But to answer the OP's question about whether SuperMac should be allowed to put more Cerberus in the series....

Hehe, it seems that nobody wants to see Cerberus again.

As we all know, there has been another leak (gameplay information). According to some mysterious reddit user (supposedly verified) he saw - I quote - "non-human enemies drop from Cerberus ships".

Personally, I did like Cerberus from ME books, but in ME3 they were kinda... prosaic, flavourless, pretensious, boring, As much as I would like them to return in ME A, I would not like them to be the main enemy. However, I saw countless other reddit users writing that they do not wanna Cerberus to return ever again.

So, what do you think? Would it upset you if you saw Cerberus again or quite the opposite?

Quite the opposite, if they are like they were in ME2.

That leak is not credible(r/MassEffect is a moronic hugbox that seems to exist for the sole purpose of posting low-quality images of Mass Effect merch) and no one likes Cerberus except for Mac Walters.

Hum, it is as credible as the leaked survey I guess. The dude who made a YT vid about this gameplay info leak says it has been verified that the informer is who he really is. I am wondering if these leaks are actually released by Bioware to observe players' reaction. They never give away too many info. I used to be a game tester and I know how severe are punishments for leaking news, so I kinda doubt it that someone would so freely contact other reddit users to share all the secrets.

So yeah, no thanks. Cerberus has been in the ME spotlight long enough and failed miserably. Let's leave them in the Milky Way.

Also, even if that leak is credible, that cerberus texture on the shuttle could've just been a temporary placeholder.

They could have a role in the backstory, but I'd rather them not have a dominating presence in the modern story.

Absolutely not in any way shape or form.

Mass Effect is my favourite game series ever, but I am so tired of Cerberus.

T.I.M. said Cerberus isn't just an organization, but an idea.  I think having a "First Order" version of Cerberus (think of Cerberus as the Empire)  in ME:A would make sense considering that it looks like we'll be trying to find a new home for humanity.

Abrahams never cared to explain how the First Order came to be, or what the hell the Knights of Ren are (and many more other things).

I feel super meh about Cerberus in ME:A.  I don't think I could possibly feel more meh.

And the original trilogy didn't explain how the Empire came to be or much about the Siths.  All in due time.  The many benefits of having watched the original movies in the 80s.

It's sad how so many people expect everything to be laid out in 2 hours and 15 mins.  They want an encyclopedia, not a story.

I don't see Cerberus as the Empire, well maybe on ME3 (the Empire is too damm stereotypically evil). I think of them as a group of Gray Jedi keeping the Sith at bay by any means necessary.

Fair enough.  I wouldn't mind a spin off group that wasn't a bunch of mustache twirling and muhahahahahha.

They gave more information of the fall of the Republic and the Jedi Purge in A New Hope (save for Luke's real origin, Ben wasn't going to tell him "By the way, your father is a Sith and a murderer of Jedi, but I'm sure you won't follow his footsteps"). I think 10 years after the last Star Wars movie (or 32 if you hate the Prequels) they owed us a more satisfactory plot (instead we got an ANH reboot).

No thank you.

I really don't want to see the "Not-Cerberus" up to the same tricks that they were in the original trilogy, such as using the "Not-Crucible" to control the "Not-Reapers" of the "Not-Milky Way".  <_<

eh... agree to disagree.  I don't want to go too far off topic and end up with a warning (incidentally, if you're using Explorer on these forums you'd be better off using Chrome).

I do think we will have a group that rises from the ashes of Cerberus.  I think the whole "find humanity a new home" bit is going to be a big...CATALYST for that?

*see what I did*?

I don't think by having a group that is focused on humanities needs in a situation where you are trying to find humanity a new home necessarily means that the group will be "up to the same tricks".  Also, I don't think having a group that is more concerned about humanity necessarily means we'll get facsimiles of The Crucible, The Catalyst or Reapers.

No...just no. Instead of Harbinger, I got Freaking Kai Leng. To hell with Cerberus, and to hell with Walters if he tries to bring them back into the story. Bad enough we get more of his crap story-telling.

Big time meh. I got bored with the Cerberus plots during the trilogy and would be most happy to see new enemies introduced. Plus they left the Milky Way in shambles, along with my love for the series at the end of ME3; Best to just go for a start fresh in Andromeda with new everything IMO!

How about new enemies and friends, how about change....instead of usual as if we were some kind of fossils.

If it were up to me I would let N7 to rot with ol' ME trilogy as well, sadly seems some kind of "Fossil" had to come back in game to please all 'fossil lover' fans....I would prefer if it stays on one, because this is supposed to be completely new ME game not 'copy-paste' of old one.

What's the deal with you and fossils? You seem to carry quite a grudge! I dunno what happened but those mean ole' fossils can't hurt you anymore, I promise!

Cerberus never seemed like that big a threat, more of an annoyance. Besides reviving shepard, I didnt think they played a substantial role in anything.
