*sigh*

ME1 had geth and cerberus.

ME2 had collectors and cerberus.

ME3 had husks and cerberus.

They serve no story purpose in the trilogy.

yeah but cerberus is  barley in  ME1 you can definitely miss who  cerberus is .......in ME2 when jacob and miranda interview shepard about his past i'm paraphrasing so bear with me.. jacob tells commander shepard you must have hit your head harder than i thought....  because i didn't know who cerberus was and i was wtf whos cerberus lol i always thought that was bad writing by bioware it never made any sense cerberus was just a really a non important side ques but in ME2 The core story is cerberus and bioware acted like cerberus a large port of ME1 story.

And the original trilogy didn't explain how the Empire came to be or much about the Siths.  All in due time.  The many benefits of having watched the original movies in the 80s.

How the Empire came to be wasn't important. All that mattered was that it was there. And really that just became the frame story for Luke's transition from farmboy to Jedi.

I don't see Cerberus as the Empire, well maybe on ME3 (the Empire is too damm stereotypically evil). I think of them as a group of Gray Jedi keeping the Sith at bay by any means necessary.

And those Gray Jedi fell to the Dark side.

They gave more information of the fall of the Republic and the Jedi Purge in A New Hope (save for Luke's real origin, Ben wasn't going to tell him "By the way, your father is a Sith and a murderer of Jedi, but I'm sure you won't follow his footsteps"). I think 10 years after the last Star Wars movie (or 32 if you hate the Prequels) they owed us a more satisfactory plot (instead we got an ANH reboot).

Obi-Wan didn't really say much about the fall of the Republic or the purge beyond that it happened. That's all that mattered. I don't think "Sith" were ever mentioned as a thing. As for Vader being Luke's father, was that a thing when A New Hope was originally written, or did they come up or at least decide to implement that idea for the second movie, requiring Obi-Wan to awkwardly explain himself in Return of the Jedi?

Meh. TIM and Cerberus added plenty to the trilogy IMO, but they also pretty much ran their course. Andromeda is going to have to really shake things up to justify their continued presence, in which case they could be pretty awesome, so I guess I'm hopeful if not thrilled.

I actually liked that, it gave the the story a noir-ish type of feel, where you didn't really know who the bad(dest) guy was.

What reason is there for Cerberus to be in Andromeda anyway?

There doesn't need to be a reason, it's just a matter of resources.
You can explain anything with resources.

What does MEA have to do with DAI? And the Inquisitor only has one arm now so how would s/he continue as the protag?

Eh... Not this question again... Ever heard about prosthetics? There is Bianca and Dagna who can make a masterpiece. Do not wanna go thru this topic again.

Who confirms it? A no-name YouTuber or the no-name mods of a random subreddit? None of those people have any authority and nothing in that "leak" has been corroborated. You need to work on your BS detection skills.

This person is not a no-name.He has been running a YT channel for a while. Personally, I would not risk ppl throwing dislikes at all my videos as a punishment for trolling/lying. Nobody is also goin to give away her/his name to confirm the creditability of the leak. I do not negate it is true and I do not negate it is bs. You need to work on your chill skills tho.

Thedas Prosthetics Co.? They work just like crossbows?

It's a nothing YouTube channel run by a nobody with no authority. Wise up.

Hmmm, perhaps only to show where MEA comes from. I would not mind one-two Cerberus-related missions. I am sure there will be many new players who have never played the trlogy (kinda like DAI) and making such a mission/missions could encourage them to go thru the trilogy too?

Again - stop pulling on me your negativity. It's disgusting.

Also, there is a reason Bianca is described as "the best smith you will ever meet". She does not only make crossbows. If she is not enough - there is Dagna. Moreover, as Gaider said - the original DAI arc was much longer and eventually it had been divided into two parts because there was too much story to cover. Weekes is working on the second part (DA4). Do some research before writing bs, please.

And pls stop offending that YTer. You do not have any proves against this person or against that leak. The only thing u r doing right now is being a hateful keyboard warrior.

Bianca makes weapons and Dagna is an enchanter. Neither has ever made a magical prosthesis and none have ever even been mentioned in the lore of Thedas. And show me where Gaider said the Inquisitor is coming back for the next Dragon Age game. I'm eager for that quote since Gaider is no longer part of the Dragon Age team and the next installment hasn't even been confirmed, let alone discussed.
And why would they have had the Inquisitor's arm amputated just to give him/her an asspull prosthesis when it would have made more sense and required fewer resources to just have the Anchor sucked out the Inquisitor's hand with magic?

Grow up. It's a no-name YouTuber with nothing on the line and if this is too much "negativity" for you to bear then you are going to have a very hard time in the real world.

Didn't we defeated them? With Illusive Man gone Cerberus is finished unless there were other similiar organizations?

They'd probably do the whole "Cerberus is an ideas. Ideas are not so easily destroyed." explanation for their return if they do.

True! However, the last trailer shows a ship leaving the Milky Way to Andromeda while Shepard was still alive - saying her final goodbyes. It prolly means that the ship left the Milky way before the Reapers and Cerberus were defeated.

To be honest, as much as I do not want to see too much Cerberus, it would make for them to appear at some point. If not as "Cerberus", then at least as some fraction? It would make sense that Cerberus was interested in travelling to Andromeda - after all the preservation of human race was their goal too. If the survey leak is not a fake then MEA will be about finding a new home for humans.

I sure hope not. What's the point of going to a new galaxy with a clean slate of possibilities to work with, only to pull out the cerberus card?

Really? Seemed to me that they were doing their best to kill every human they came across.

Hardly.  They were being improved.
