For the past few days they've been worse than ever. Tons of lag, lots of disconnects, horrible time finding/connecting to matches. And now as I type this, it keeps saying "Error matchmaking failed to find a session". So I tried making my own lobby, and it took about a minute to finally create it. Now 10 minutes in, and no one has joined.

This is on XB1 btw.

They are specifically having issues on xblive regarding social and gaming services (and they specifically say "matchmaking"). That link will give you up to date info, as it becomes available.

Thanks. I realized the issue was Xbox Live (AGAIN) after posting this. I'm so sick of Microsoft and their bs. Xbox Live has had way too many stability issues, and Microsoft fails to compensate us for any of it, let alone fix the damn problems. There weren't this many problems on 360 Xbox Live. I've already been boycotting any Microsoft published games since all the issues last October-December

Don't worry, SONY shaft us just as much.   PSN has had many problems over the years.  Message wouldn't even send over the network at one point..... yeah messaging...... really......   We did get wipeout and little big adventure as compensation years ago........  and 2 free days PSN+....

Yeah, with the fact that so many people know how to Ddos, it gets difficult around the holidays to play, but a few days ago (some time in the last week) the PSN servers were acting up aswell.

The longest XboxLive outage I can recall was one or two days, then members were compensated.  PSN on the other hand went down for a month straight and they lost users' personal data.  No thank you!

The real names are only shown if you get a "Real Name Request" i personally enjoy using this function for my friends from real life or friends that i always play my games with where i have, overtime, bonded or become great online friends with. Most of the time, from what ive seen, people will use the 'first name' slot to put thier real first name, while making the 'last name' be something random or represent their username or whatever. for example, since my user is BA_Productions, for my "real name" i use Noah the BA.
