I think I was hypnotized for a few minutes after stumbling across this.
The synth is strong with this one.
Epic track. One like isn't sufficient. If music is art, that's one of the best pieces of fanart produced by the Mass Effect fandom.
Damn fine song. I doubt the composer job for MEA is still open, but if not, this guy should be snatched up in a heartbeat!
Very repetitive, and he's no Hulick/Wall.
Too mysterious, too many dark overtones. It would be good for the next game that I'm envisioning, but not for this one.
It is a great song though.
Its pretty dark, yet what I enjoyed is that while it was dark, it seemed to have a lightness to it. A feeling of progress, upwards, improvements, understanding, etc.
Right, it just seemed to me to be a song like a noir mystery would play.

Casey Hudson, 2013:
“There’s so much that could be told in the Mass Effect universe. It’d be cool to do something completely unrelated to the larger storyline, like a story about a private investigator on the Citadel…”

Casey understands the deep burning need we all have for Vakarian P.I.
Well, I guess it doesn't have to be Vakarian anymore.
He made this too.

A noirish Mass Effect game would be awesome.
I wouldn't want the PC to be Garrus however. It would have to be an original character.
All this music please...

Perfect. We just escaped the Reapers and don't know what we're going to face. Will we even survive?
Of course you know they don't play the entire song for the main theme in the beginning. It gets edited down to size.
Or depending upon what happens in the end, this could be the closing credits.
Has more of a mystery vibe going for it than that vastness of space feel that Hulick usually captures with his synthy pieces or the grand epicness of Wall. I personally wouldn't associate this kind of composition with Mass Effect. Sure the instrumentation is similar, except for some of it that sounds like KoRN, but really, the composition is just not Mass Effect enough.

Vigil in Andromeda version
Best soundtrack ever. Just put on repeat

Oh you.
EDIT: Actually I think it would be hilarious if they actually put this as the club music.
Wow, this is really fantastic. For me, it really captures the feelings of this strange new journey. Curiosity, strangeness, a bit of trepidation....I mean I just feel like I can almost see it all unfolding.
Yeah exactly! I know its not a hit with everyone (apparently it wasn't when I showed it to my boyfriend, but he was also distracted), but that's how I felt too. Even took time after it to absorb.
Oh you.

On that note, this is technically club music, and I'd love to see it used in a trailer at least.
What if they went full Space opera and just went like extreme gothic intensity or something?
