Its funny how people want to criticize ME3's ending for "space magic" when ME2's intro has some serious space magic, yet the intro is praised.

That said I agree with the the basic point of the OP, in that the last thing Andromeda needs is another ending fiasco.

Well I'm pretty sure BioWare isn't sitting around going "You know what was great? when the internet hated us because of the ending to ME3. Let's do that again".

 

So at the very least, I imagine they'll probably try.

I didn't really see ME3's ending so much strange as I did a little daft. In any case, I don't think the writers can really handle strange in significant doses. More than likely, any attempt at it would probably just look like Tommy Wiseau's attempt to ape David Lynch.

Some people can not let this go. ME3 ending has become a recurring meme, people nowadays hate it because they hate it and have no idea why they actually hate it. This horse was beaten to death, raised with the Lazarus project #2 and beaten to death again.

The Sopranos ending was actually brilliant. There are lots of subtle things going on there that you have to pay attention to notice. 

 

I'm not sure Bioware could pull off something similar. They don't really do subtle.
