Why do we loose requisition items through the valuables ? I just lost 4 Spider Ichors needed for the Antivenom requisition because they ended up in the valuables folder. They should have gone to the crafting materials, but no...

AFAIK those are the only requisition items that are valuables; everything else is filed under crafting, and won't be sold.

Keep an eye on malachite as well as they get put in valuables.  If you haven't gone to Exalted Plains yet, you may well get a requisition from there requiring malachite.  So if you see any in your valuables, don't sell them, or if you screw up and do, buy the buggers back before you close the transaction window.

Thought they fixed this in a patch early on? Pretty sure they did. Could be wrong tho-- cheers

They did not.  My OCD knows this beyond doubt. ;)

They fixed that you can no longer sell creature research items accidentally, you can still sell requisition items such as malachite, spider stuff and those dwarf items from the Hissing Wastes.

I think this was intentional so you can clean up your inventory if you want. You'll end up with more power that you can ever use anyway.

I think the more fitting question is: WHY does anyone bother to do requisitions?

Well, if you're not using the materials for crafting then they can be effectively free power and experience.

Agreed. Free Influence is a good thing. Standard gameplay fills most Requistions without going one step out of your way.
