Like Dorian from DAI? Hell, even Solas had some funny moments.

Yes. Dorian was great. Sigh, but like he said maybe in another lifetime for him my Quizzy....or another PT if I roll a dude. Eh, idk, I also kinda like the friendship between him and my female Quizzy.

Solas did have some surprising moments.

But I'm trying to think of the funny ones in ME series. Garrus can be funny -  at times. Tali..I guess, sorta.

We had one.

You just can't romance Kasumi.

 Kasumi was cool.

Are you joking or are your icons lying? I can't possibly believe that someone could play DA:O and forget Morrigan.

And what do we always hear about? Her butt.

Butts are to be seen, not heard.

She did have a fun personality in her loyalty mission in me2. But it was too short and you didn't even get to have dialogue wheel talk with her in ship. Not much character development.

Take Kasumi's attitude, a little more humor and playfulness, and put it in the body of Adriana Lima.

Now we're talking

We all know that the comic relief always has to be overweight or not pretty. It's a rule someone made up at some point

Merrill was pretty hilarious.

Isabella was fine and all, but felt more typical in many ways....

Not true Merrill is very funny and I am here.

on topic.

The fact remains that what a large group of people desire in a romantic companion are often mutually exclusive. It is impossible to please everyone. ANd then people get offended. The amount of butt hurt over DA:I female romance options are feminist conspiracy against hetro men is up their with the insanity of some of the tumblr rants about past bioware games.

Accept that there are a LIMITED number of spots open for romance options which means your particulate set of criteria in a romance option may not be filled by any given game.

ME has been lean on Female romanceable funny women but the last two Dragon age games had two Merrill and Sera. You might not have filled your specific criteria for what you find attractive or funny but they are attractive and funny to other people.

And Bioware doesn't actually NEED to fill anyone's specific criteria for what they find attractive. Your wants don't trump any other person's wants and given that the range of what people find sexually and romantically stimulating it is an impossible expectation for Bioware to fulfill with just a handful of characters each game.

At first glance at the title of the thread I read it as "ME:A needs more humongous good looking women"... and I was like "wtf?" for that fraction of a second :D

I disagree with the OP. ME:A needs more humorous or engaging average-looking women. I'm pretty sick of female soldiers, scientists, doctors, fugitives, assassins, marsh-dwelling sorceresses, criminals, technicians and terrorists who all look like underwear models, not only making them hard to take seriously but also making my painstakingly customized plain protagonist look like an idiot. Men do tend to appreciate perfect cheekbones on a woman, and vice versa, but as a rule we aren't actually picky when it comes to looks. The extra fanservice is pretty unnecessary, and it doesn't work as a substitute for properly three-dimensional female characters.

Gimme a female LI who looks like a real human being and can hold up the other end of a conversation, please. Preferably also heterosexual, but that's for my own benefit.

So basically Kasumi, but LI. Sounds pretty good.

In terms of Merrill.. she was funny due to her goofiness. There is many ways to be funny, but I don't know if goofy is what people are looking for here.
